Picking up poop

I guess no one else is picking up the dog poop, so Allie took matters into her own hands.

2nd place

Pierce had another track meet today. I am so proud of him. He really has worked hard to be his best. Today he took 2nd place in his race. Way to go Pierce!!

Pinewood derby

We had the pinewood derby tonight. Poor Brock was still sick with HFM and so he couldn't go. Pierce raced his car for him. Brock ended up winning 3rd place in the whole derby. Pierces car did great until some of the weights started falling off, darn! We had a great time!

Hand Foot Mouth

Poor Brock got the worst sickness ever! He got hand, foot, mouth. They started after school one day and I took him right to the doctor hoping that it was something else. Even though I think I knew he already had it. Our cousin Hinter had it just about a week ago. I was sure we were doomed. Night one was the worst! His poor feet were covered in blisters and he wailed and screamed all through the night. Aunt Dee saved us by bring over some miracle mud to put on the blisters and some other holistic medicines. He was miserable. He had to stay home for a whole week of school.

Found on the side of the road

Trent found these awesome wooden benches on the side of the road and loaded them up in his car and brought them home. I sanded them down and re-stained them and they turned out amazing! They look brand new.

Snuggles with the oldest

This kid is exceptional. I don't know how we got so lucky to have him. He is kind, considerate, honest and just the best kid. He hardly ever causes trouble and he is such a peacemaker in our home. I love you Pierce.

Pinewood derby

Every year the boys ask for some outlandish design painted on their cars. This year Pierce, Brock and Jaida wanted characters from the tv show Gumball. Allie chose pinkie pie from my little ponies. Not the best, but not too bad if I do say so myself. Pierce did most of his himself.

Celebrity jeopardy

We love Mickey Cox! At the boys school they had an assembly called celebrity jeopardy. In order to be called onto the stage they had to be dressed as a celebrity. I chuckled when Pierce asked to dress as the singer Bruno Mars and Brock dressed as Daniel Radcliffe from Harry Potter. They both got picked to go onstage. Brock won a guft card for best costume. Pierce took second place for his.

Look at my broccoli! I am so excited, and so is Allie. Can't wait to eat this!

This dog

It cracks me up the way Max sleeps. He is a handful, Br moments like this make me love him.

Silly girl

I guess they are learning to forge paper work earlier these days. Haha Jaidas homework has to be signed every week. I found her paper in her back pack and she said," don't worry mom I signed it for you!" Do you think her teacher will notice?

Daddy's girls

Both our girls hold a special place in their daddy's heart. They have him wrapped around their little fingers. The best time of day is when they wake up and want snuggles and daddy eats this up.

Mmmmm

My friend brought these most delicious berries to us. Never in my life had I had something so good. They didn't even need sugar to make them sweet. The best strawberries I have ever eaten!

Gymnastics

The girls have been going to gymnastics and they love it. Jaida is all over the place and catches on pretty quick. Allie spends half of the class being too shy to even participate and then ends up loving it in the end. It is pretty cute to watch them both.

Poor Allie

Allie got the flu bug and was so sick. We made her a little bed on the dog pillow so I could work out. She fell asleep. Poor girl was up all night throwing up. I felt so bad for her.

Push pause

These are the moments I want to always remember. These two are best of buds. This tree is something that is magical in our front yard. Allie especially spends a lot of time there. When she plays there she is in her own little world. I will always cherish these moments of finding her up in the tree.

Star Reader

Brock got the Star Reader award! He has improved so much. He had the highest AR points in his class. We are so proud of him.

Gymnasts

I signed the girls up for a fun Saturday gymnastics class. Clearly they were super excited for it. They both got some pretty cute outfits and could hardly wait to start going.

New do

We call this her "little pony" hair. I love that she lets me try new things.

My baby is growing up

This girl is so full of personality and is always making us smile. She loves scoobydoo meets KISS. He favorite character is the demon and starchild. So this is almost always her signature smile these days!

Clothing optional

Apparently our property screams "take your clothes off!" These kids are becoming too country.

Max

Look at my puppy all grown up. He is now bigger than Gracie. I love him.
