BUZZ cuts..

So as you all know my little Pierce hates to have his haircut! Not a big shocker that his hair needed a trim so yesterday before church we decided to give it a try. To our astonishment.. not really... he screamed bloody murder and so we had to go with the traditional Buzz cut because it was the easiest way to finish what we had started. Unfortunately it snowed today so he is a little before the season for the buzz cut! HAHAHA! Brock was due for a trim as well so we cut his hair too, he was much better behaved! Not a big shocker! I think that Brock looks like a little Mini Me of Pierce now! Then last but not least Trent needed his hair cut! We have turned into a regular haircutting salon over here at the Belliston house.. who is next? I am also due for a haircut but there is NOWAY I would Trust Trent to cut my Mane!

Last night we went over to our Friends Tyler and Sydney's for dinner. It was a nice time. Pierce was in heaven because we took a stack of his movies and he got to watch them. He is so funny.

Today he has been carrying around this stuffed giraffe with him everywhere pretending to take care of it. He has a bandanna wrapped around it and has been singing to it, "take me out to the ball game". And he has even put it in time out a few times. I don't know where he got that from!

Last night was a rough one with Brock so most of all I am just glad my children have been nice today. It is things like that, that can make all the difference! Being a mother is sometimes very challenging. I love my kids, but it is hard to stay positive.... especially when you get an average of 4 hours of sleep a night. My enthusiasm is wearing thin!

Easter

My Niece and Nephews!

Easter day was a great day! We woke up and Pierce was so excited to see if the Easter Bunny had come. I was so sad because my camera was out of batteries so I could only capture it on video!  Pierce and Brock loved their Easter buckets. Pierce got a CD and he was a dancing machine!
Church didn't go as well as planned! My kids were ridiculous. One of those days when you wonder why you go! Pierce was sooooo tired and grouchy! Brock was being his usual crying fuss! SO we spent the majority of the time in the halls. Trent had to substitute Pierce's nursery class and Pierce was so upset. He just kept saying, " I want my teacher".
After church we went to my parents house for a wonderful dinner! My dad is amazing! He made enough to feed an army and it was delish! Then we headed outside for the annual Easter egg hunt. Pierce was funny to watch he was so excited to be outside he could barely contain himself! He was excited for the hunt but too sidetracked with the outdoors! Anyways we made off pretty good! Then back home to try and tame our sugar high child!!! Boy were we tired.
Special thanks to a wonderful mother in law who made sure that I got a new dress for Easter. I was thrilled! Thank you!

8 Miles of Freedom!

So I am not sure if I have made this public information but I have been training to run the half marathon in April! Who knows if I will actually run... it may be that I just walk! Anyways I had to run 8 miles today as part of my training and it seemed extremely DAUNTING! I made Trent drive 8 miles from our house and drop me off. As we began to drive I realized how far 8 miles really was because we just kept going and going and going! I said to Trent that I was scared that I wouldn't make it and that I would DIE. Okay a touch of Drama in that statement! Anyways the great husband that I have turned to me and said "don't worry you will do great just think of it as 8 miles of freedom!" HAHAHA I had to laugh. I am proud to say that I did it and in my best time yet! YAhoo.. as Pierce would say," Go Mama! Clap three times!" I was way proud of myself! But I sure do hurt now!

Today was fun with the boys we went to a Easter Egg Hunt in Clearfield and they had 10,000 eggs hidden and it was a free for all when they yelled go. Pierce did really well he got so many eggs. He was so excited! It was so cute to see how happy he was! I can't wait until tomorrow when the Easter Bunny comes. He has been so excited and has been pretend calling him all week long!

# 2

Pierce and Brock with the Easter Bunny!

Brock eating a sucker! Yummy
Giddy Up! SO cute!
Howdy Partner!
Okay so Brockie got his 2nd tooth this week! Yahoo... They sure are causing him more grief then Pierce ever had with his. Or maybe I just forgot! Anyways we are excited to have this chapter of Brock Life over with! I feel so bad for him!

Pierce also Has mastered a few #2's of his own finally in the TOILET!! He says " Now are you gonna take me to Chuckie Cheese!! " What a smart cookie! He cracks me up!

Last weekend we got to have Trent's parents stay at our house and Pierce kept saying,"My friends are staying at my house!" He was so excited for the attention and to see them. In fact he wanted to go home with them! I guess Trent and I are boring! But he was so sad to see them go. They got up before we did on Sunday and left so when Pierce woke up he ran in the room where they were staying and said," Oh No there is no Papa or Grammy here, Where did my Friends go?" He was sad!

Potty "TRAIN"

So this is one of Pierce's Prizes for doing so well in potty training! He loves it! I think he plays with it ALL day! He sleeps with the remote and best of all Brock loves to sit and watch Pierce play with it! It has freed me from holding Brock a little bit during the day! He is such a stinker! When Pierce wakes up in the morning he says, "Should we go see if my train is still here" and "come on lets go play with my train" ! It is so cute!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Mom's Good Luck Charms!
Yummy Dinner!

So I tried to make today fun for the boys. It is my goal to try to make holidays fun and different from other days so that my kids can remember them as being fun! I dressed the boys in green and told Pierce that we wear green today and if we don't then we get tickled. So we got ready and watched a movie together ( that is what Pierce chose to do) then we played in Pierce's room. After waking up from our naps... Much needed, We went out side to enjoy some sunshine. Pierce and I played with his sidewalk chalk and colored on the driveway. I made a special dinner Green Sour cream Chicken, Green Beans, And Green rice! And for dessert we are having Grasshopper pie. (Whitney would enjoy that)! When Trent got home from work Pierce noticed that Trent wasn't wearing any green and started chasing him around the house saying I am going to tickle you! Anyways it was fun!

We made it through Week One!

So We made it through week one of potty training and we celebrated yesterday a day with not one accident! That is a huge milestone.. way to go Pierce! I am so proud of him. I don't think that we are yet in the clear but well on our way! We still need to tackle the #2's if you know what I mean! But he is doing well and I have not had a breakdown since last week! YAY! Here are some funny stories about Pierce's potty training...

On Friday Trent was home and decided to take Pierce out with him to run some errands. Let me just remind you that he is only wearing Undies no pull-up! So they are getting the truck registered and they are at Jiffy Lube right around the corner from our house. I get a call about 12:30 asking if I can come pick Pierce up because Trent thinks he has to go to the bathroom but Pierce wouldn't go in their bathrooms. I explain that I have no way to come and pick up Pierce because he has both car seats in the truck. So he says he thinks they will be okay. It wasn't but 5 minutes later Trent calls and says that Pierce has peed his pants all over the chair at jiffy lube and the waiting room was filled. He had to take Pierce into the bathroom and try to clean him up as best as possible and then clean the chair that Pierce was on! HAHAHAHa Trent was mortified!

The first time Pierce peed in the Toilet he asked Trent to leave the room and so Trent was standing outside the door when he heard Pierce start to pee. He then heard Pierce say " I am doing it" " it is working" so cute. He was so proud of himself!

He loves getting the prizes and has gotten every single prize in his box that I made for him. I have to get some more.. he is a smart little cookie. Now when he says he has to go to the bathroom he says" mama I need a surprise!" or " lets see if I can make the water yellow!"

Thanks for all you help and advice! Keep your fingers crossed for Pierce!

Potty Training....

Yeah right! Potty training SUCKS! Sorry to be so blunt but it really does! I am beginning to think that I have been overruled by my 2 year old! I am not sure what to do! SO we officially ran out of diapers on Monday and I thought to myself why don't I just try potty training him because I am sick of changing two kid's diapers all the time... Silly me what was I thinking! I can say that we have had a few accidents but for the most part Pierce has managed to hold it all day until I put a pull up on him for his nap and then once he wakes up I put undies on again. The pull up when he wakes is Soaked to the Bone! Then he holds it until it is time for bed until I put the pull up on again! What a Joke! If he doesn't have me figured out!!! I am going to lose my mind and I have no patience left! To all of you mothers out there who have one child old enough to be potty trained get it done now before you have another one!!! Because it is hard work and I kept telling myself that I would just do it after Brock was born and Now I REGRET that!! I wish that I just would have DONE IT WHEN I HAD MORE FREE TIME!!!!

Anyone have any ideas on what to do about toilet Phobias? If I even mention the word he FREAKS out! PLEASE help!!! Before they check me into a insane hospital!!

On another note Brock got his first tooth yesterday! YAY! He keeps feeling it with his tongue! It is cute! So maybe that is why he has been extra cranky! I was beginning to think that we had named him wrong and his real name should have been oscar!!!

Farewell To PAPAPS

We have officially lost Pierce's Papaps (Binkie) YAHOOOO!! Actually it was kinda sad! I think I was in more mourning than he! He threw it somewhere and we cannot locate it anywhere! I searched that night thinking that there was no way that he would go to sleep without it. I was so frantic! We decided to just give it a try and what do you know it has been three days and he hasn't even mentioned it! We had tried many attempts to break him from it and nothing ever worked! So I am proud that My 2 year old son finally had to Break himself of this on his own!! What great parents we are! Here are some photos of Pierce and his beloved PAPAPS! We will miss ya!
