New Do..

So I finally got up the courage to chop off my hair. Thanks to Keelee for making me follow through with it! It was really good to see her again. I can't believe how long it has been. Anyways my mom is bugging me to post a picture and Trent isn't here to help me take a pic.. so here is what I have to work with now. When He gets home I will beg him mercifully to take a picture mom! Kinda looks funny because I am trying so hard to pose while holding a camera far enough away so that you can't see my nose hairs but you get the idea!

Just ONE short year ago..

I cannot believe how fast time flies... My little Brockie boy is turning one today! He was such a small little baby, when I look at these pictures it feels like they were just yesterday. We just love our Brock. After a stressful pregnancy he was just a miracle! He brings so much joy to our family. I remember when I was pregnant and I had to go do my non-stress tests, I would take Pierce with me and make him a sandwich. He'd sit right by me and watch what they were doing. There were a few times when little Brock wouldn't move and his heart rate wouldn't increase. It was amazing because Pierce would start talking to my belly and it would make Brock all excited and his heart rate would jump. It melted my heart. They are such good little buds, Brock loves his brother Pierce. He loves when he is around.
Trent was especially excited to have another boy. He has always liked the name Brock, and now was his chance to use it! He told me last night how much his boys have his heart! It is true. He is such a good daddy, often times too good, we call him Disneyland daddy!
Can you believe all that hair? When he came we thought we were going to have to give him a haircut right then. He had some SERIOUS Chops! He is the cutest baby. He is growing up too fast!
We love You Brock! Hope you have a wonderful 1st Birthday! You are such a special part of our family! Can't imagine life with out you! Lumpy you are the best!
Happy Birthday!

I hope they call me on a mission.. When I have grown a foot or two!

So today when I was doing Pierce's hair he was getting so angry, nothing different really but he kept saying, " I don't want my hair all that tall ( I was spiking it up with gel)" I said well we need to do your hair. He just was getting more and more mad and crying hysterically. I said, " what is a matter Pierce, don't you want to look nice?" He said back to me, " I don't like my hair all that tall, I want to have my hair like the missionaries do!" So we parted the hair and what do you know, no fights at all. I have to admit I am not one for the part. I just might have to get used to it though. I just think he looks a little goofy. But he did say I think you should do Brockie's hair like that all the way tall. Funny times!

WALL- E

So Last night we Finally went and saw the Movie Wall-E. Pierce has been so excited to see this movies since the previews first came out!Pierce was actually very into the movie. He sat there so good and ate an entire tub of popcorn. All day he asked me, " Are we going to Wall-E yet?" It was so cute to see the excitement he had. I was even more surprised on how good Brock was. He just sat there for most of the movie just snacking away on Papa's drink. I loved the movie It was such a cute show. I highly recommend it! My parents came with us. It was nice to have them there. I miss the times that we used to spend together when we lived there. We always had a fun event planned for family night.
So this morning when Pierce woke up he said," Hey mama, are you gonna buy me that my Wall- E movie? " Funny. He says " Wall-e liked the white robot and his hand got stuck in her hand!" Funny what they remember. Anyways I thought I would also write about this mornings breakfast fiasco, because I know it will make Trent's parents laugh. So Pierce asks me for eggs this morning for breakfast. I make them and put them on his plate and he decided that he didn't want them. I was pretty upset that he wouldn't eat them. I told him that he couldn't get down until he did. He was throwing a major fit! So I put some in his mouth for him, in which he proceeded to FORCE himself to start gagging. Well he continued that gagging until he eventually threw it up all over the counter. I was so mad! Does any one else experience this? I know that Trent used to do this when he was a kid. ARGGGGHHH What do you do? I am beginning to think that it should be more like the terrible Threes not twos. The closer we get to being three the worse the tantrums get!

Silly Boy

So last night Pierce was a little bit Hyper! We are not sure why but we decided to join in the fun rather than be annoyed. He is getting to be so big and says the funniest things all the time! I cannot believe that he is almost three. Crazy how time flys! We just love this little boy to pieces!

Hard Work

Pierce and his buddy Uncle Wias (Elias). They really are so cute together!

Pierce and Tyson
Brown Papa (Papa Belliston) and Brockie boy. They were having a great time!
Just a picture I like of Brock! He looks so cute!

So I have been meaning to post this for a while but haven't had the chance. This entire summer we have been working really hard to try and get our yard done. It is still not done but we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. A couple of weeks ago Trent's dad came down along with Brady and Elias and helped us grade our yard. Pierce was having a great time with Uncle Wias (Elias) on the tractor that we rented. It is always good to see Trent's family since we hardly ever do. And Pierce was so excited that "Brown Papa" ( Trent's dad, we have no idea why Pierce calls him that!) got to spend the night here.

Also after that fun weekend we were able to have Berkley and Braxton spend the night here too. Pierce loves to spend time with his cousins. I hope that they weren't to entirely bored. They are growing up so fast. On that morning we also watched Pierce's buddy Tyson. He was a little excited. Pierce and Tyson are so funny together. It is nice to have so many friends in our neighborhood... Pretty much at every house there is a friend!

Just wanted to let everyone that has helped out with our yard that we are so thankful. We really couldn't have done it without your help.. you know who you are!

Memories...

Memory Lane...
I got this from a friend's blog. I thought it would be fun! I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses

It is official...

I have no idea how he got in there but he was having a good time! Who knew barstools could be so fun?
Under Pierce's bed! He is safe under there...
Pierce was a little jealous that I was paying so much attention to Brock so he had to join in!
Mad about the gate!
Cute little buggar!

Brockie is a mobile boy now... He is getting into EVERYTHING! I have never had to baby proof my house because we lived with my parents when Pierce was this age and there was not much there for him to get into. My mom just always had the important things tucked away! So yeah, he just started a crawl last night when he woke up from his 2nd nap he just decided it was time. He was crawling all over the place and it was so funny. Pierce was laughing hysterically because Brock was following behind him everywhere he went. So this morning I forgot that this had happened and sign me up for the stupid mom award... I was in the computer when I heard " THUD THUD thud......" Yes Brock fell down our stairs, and get this he didn't cry! He just sat at the bottom complaining for me to come get him. So funny, and now we have the gate up and he was so mad that I put it up. He kept crawling over to it and screaming at it and banging his hand on it. Oh how I love my little Brockie and I am so proud of him.

Fun Filled Fourth

The boys at the parade.. don't you love how Pierce is holding Brock's head to look at the camera!
Pierce and Bumble!
The Belliston Boys at the game!
Me and My little P.. I look hideous sorry, it was a no make up day. Trent and the boys are always complaining that I take to long to get ready so this is the result of that!
Pierce and Grammy!

I don't know about you guys but we had a great fourth of July. It is always nice to have your family all together! In the morning we went to the Clearfield parade. We had a good time and they gave out so much candy. Pierce was having fun until about half way through he decided that he was done! But we made it through, luckily it wasn't that long of a parade. It has been a tradition forever to go to the Provo parade, but with gas prices so high we just couldn't justify a trip all the way down there. Sad that is comes down to that! America needs to do something about the fuel situation! Some of my favorite memories from the Provo parade were going to my Great Aunt Graces house afterwards and having root beer floats. She was always such a great lady and I absolutely loved her house.. in fact if I had the money to buy it I would have. Anyways we then came straight home to get the boys down for a much needed nap, yes Trent too. I stayed up and caught up on my Book of Mormon reading, my cousin Kelli has challenged us to read it in a month. We'll see what happens. Then we were off to my Aunt Peggy's house for a family party. When I was growing up her house was always the funnest. She always had the best treats and activities for us to do. So I was really excited to go there and see the family. My Nana and Papa were there to. They just got their mission call to New York. They will be leaving next week. We are so excited for them, and I know they will be awesome missionaries. We had some yummy food and good times there. After that we had the Bees baseball game, another tradition in my family. They have the best fireworks. And we all had a great time.
This might sound cheesy but I am so grateful that I get to live in America. There are some things that are annoying about this country, but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

Parade Season

Thrilled to be at the parade!!!
Thanks Jamie for the yummy food! Getting ready for the parade to start!
The cutest boys...ready for church, Pierce says," Mama I can hold my Brockie Boy all by my self!"

I love how Pierce smiles when you tell him to! It is priceless!

I cannot tell you how happy I am around this time of year. I definitely think that This is my favorite time of year. It is warm out, We are active, and most of all the holidays that we have that have PARADES! Now I am not sure but I think that this is a genetic trait that was passed down from my mom. She absolutely loves Parades! and so do I. Trent hates this... he said that I never let him know of this love while we were dating, and feels like he was tricked! He usually is a good sport and goes with me anyways! I am not even sure my boys really care to go either. I am always so pumped up to go and when we get there all my boys are like in pout mode. We went to the Syracuse parade this last Saturday and had fun. Pierce got tons of candy and we even got a water bottle and a sweet T-shirt from Golden Corral! I was expecting this parade to be kinda lame, but Syracuse did us Proud! Anyways, I have been trying to make out my schedule for the rest of the months festivities as far as parades so I can get them all in... yahoo!

On another note I must say that I love my two little boys. I don't write much about that, sorry, it seems like I just write about them when they are stinkers. They really are cute most of the time. This past week Trent hurt his back and every night when Pierce would go to bed he would yell out for Trent to com in his room and he would say, " Daddy I almost forgot to kiss you back all better!" isn't that the cutest thing ever? Brockie is starting to move a little he has gotten the bum scoot down and can get around pretty good. He absolutely loves his brother and wants him around all the time, except when Pierce is trying to pick him up by his head! Brock had found a new love though... the little red (Flintstones style) car that goes outside he had maneuver pretty good with that and he just laughs so hard! He is growing up and can you believe that he will be one year old in a few weeks... Crazy! Pierce loves going to his Nursery class and loves his teachers. He often tells me how he loves them and misses them during the week. This last Sunday he came home and he always asks me to sing the son "the green grass grows all around all around, and the green grass grows all around?" I don't know the words so he gets frustrated with me. So he asks me to sing it again and I tell him "buddy I don't know the words!" he then says " Oh geez Mama, I guess I will have to sing you a song then, and he sang I am a Child of God, all the way through."CUTE! That us all I must say today so I don't overload you with my mother's bragging rights!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful mother in law Diane today! She is an awesome lady! I miss her so much. I loved when Trent and I got to live with them for a summer.. we went on a walk almost every night to go get treats from Jackson's. One of my funnest memories with her was when we went miniature golfing together that summer. We had such a fun time together. She is just such a great mother and awesome role model!I love you Disy!
