Just a little problem

Brock came home from school with this big hole in his pants. When I asked what happened? His response was " I had just a little problem with my pants at school". Funny kid!

New Ride

In December we got a new Suburban. I really appreciated it after driving our kids around in a Honda Accord for 2 1/2 weeks. I was feeling a little cramped for space. We are really excited for our new car. We haven't come up with a name for it yet. stay tuned for more fun family memories made in the new car!

Roller Skating

For our YW joint activity we went to a roller-skating rink on Christian Music night. It was so awesome. It brought me back to my childhood. I was laughing and having the best of times. I used to skate practically everyday. on the weekends I remember my mom taking us to either 49th Street Galleria or Classic Skating to go and skate. The young women had never been, What?? Roller Skating is a lost art! I think they had a great time. There sure was a lot of falling and laughing.

Goodness we are still sick

It seems that this winter season Allie just can't catch a break. She has been sick practically all winter. The only good thing is she will actually cuddle with me every now and then. She has never been a very cuddly thing, so this is definitely a benefit of her being sick. But that being said, I just feel so bad for her and want her to feel better soon!

O Diva Tree

Jaida is a serious Diva at times. She has her own little style and ideas. On this day she was set on wearing her Cinderella shirt with her Nike "golfing" hat. Yes they are Pink, because that is her very favorite color! We ran errands and she really wanted to go and pick out a Christmas tree for her and Allie's room. I let her pick out all the accessories. I think it turned out so fun, cute and girly. Good Job Jaida!

Girls trip

One Saturday in December, Jaida and I escaped and went on a date to the mall. We had a lot of fun laughing and singing in the car together. She has some serious dance moves. When we got to the mall I asked her what she wanted to do. At the very top of her list was of course going to Build-A-Bear. When we got their we realized that they had My Little Ponies to stuff. Man was she sure excited to get one of those. She chose Pinky Pie, She loves the color pink! After we finished she asked to go and get a pretzel. Yum! She is a girl after my own heart. I loved being with my little girl. She was so excited and sweet. She held my hand and skipped in the mall. She had a smile on her face nearly the entire time. I love you sweet Jaida Love.

My Hunting Boy

This little Brockie of mine has an obsession with the outdoors. He loves to go "hunting" for birds and can't wait to go deer hunting. On this day he was driving me crazy because he had come up with a way to hunt for birds by throwing a stick, but insisted that he needed to find a place to find birds. Allie was taking a nap, so I convinced him to "practice" his skills. So we drew a picture of a bird and this kept him busy for at least and hour.
The next morning he of course woke up at the crack of dawn wearing his Camo gear and "ready to Hunt" So I again convinced him that he still needed to practice his skills. We both drew this picture of a deer and he got his bow and arrow out and had a blast.

This of course makes his dad very happy. They will be good hunting buddies someday, I am sure.

Good-Bye Princess

In November, We sold our beloved Mini-van, Princess. We were really sad to see her go, but felt comforted that she was going to a family who was really excited for her! I couldn't help all the memories that were created in that van. I brought home 2 new babies in that van. Drove my kids to and from school everyday. I made countless trips to doctors visits, sporting events, grocery stores and friends houses. So many fun family trip and exploring new areas. I cried when they drove our van away. It was such a big part of our family. Goodbye... We will miss you!
