Oh Nutz

Did I mention that we started our own business in our spare time? hahaha we must be nuts right? Trent and his friend Mo started our cinnamon roasted nuts kiosk in the Fashion Fair Mall here in Fresno, CA. Our big opening day was November 5th. It was a crazy day, but it turned out great. My Dad flew in to help us and support our new venture. That was amazing, we couldn't have done it without him. This has been a lot of time and preparation in the making and it has been fun to see it become a reality.
People always ask:
Did Trent quite his REAL job? the answer is no!
What made you think of this? The truth is my uncle Matt started this business years ago. He has been very gracious to allow us to learn and grow from him. I grew up doing the nuts in Utah. To me it is more of a family tradition and it just doesn't seem like Christmas without them!
Are you guys crazy? Yup Pretty much!
So if you see me with a crazed look in the next few weeks to come you know why!

A day with Dad at the Zoo

We decided now that it has cooled down to spend our Saturday with Dad at the Zoo.Fun was had by all.

 Jaida loved the tortious.
They all liked digging in the dinosaur dig.

They got to pet the stingrays. We helped a lost girl find her mom.

Allie and I hung out together.
The petting zoo was a big hit.

This girl has the cutest crooked smile. I love it.

We all made it a great day. We love spending time with our daddy, he's the best!

Happy Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Jaida dressed up as a green fairy (Tinkerbell). She had preschool at our house on Halloween. We played a lot of fun games and watched a Halloween movie, made homemade ice-cream and had a lot of treats.
Brock went as Captain America, but by the time I picked him up from school his costume was off. This kid isn't a big fan of wearing clothes so I wasn't surprised at all. Good thing I opted to have him wear a t-shirt and shorts underneath even though he insisted he would never want to take it off! Pierce wore his pirate costume to school because we bought him a ninja costume and they wouldn't allow it at school. He was a good trooper about it and got to wear it later at the trunk-or-treat and trick-or-treating.

Allie was our little pink fairy. Doesn't she look thrilled about the whole thing!
Here is just Brcok's loot from the night. Man, that kid turns everything into serious business and when he is focused on something he will make sure it is done right.
He was nice and shared with his baby sister. She fell in love with dum-dum suckers.

And for your entertainment here is some pictures from our carving madness we had. Our kids have No Personality, wink wink.

And apparently Brock felt like modeling this night.

Getting 4 kids to look at you and smile: definition of impossible.

So as you can see we had a great Halloween this year.
