Happy Birthday.... hahahaha

Well it is my Birthday! I am another year older but not any wiser than the last year. I can't believe that I am already 25 years old holy cow! I am getting old! I can't believe that time has flown by so fast. Last night when we were at the mall I saw the boy from junior high that I had the biggest crush on ever! He wasn't very cute anymore... glad that I didn't pursue that. I caught myself thinking how very lucky I was to have Tbird and my boys. I am so glad even though I can go nuts from them quite often that I have it pretty good! I am so grateful to have a loving husband and two beautiful healthy boys. I wouldn't change it for the world. (Well maybe that in my next life I could be rich or something so that Tbird didn't have to work!) I have been battling a sore throat for the last few days and isn't it amazing how much that can disable you? Something as dumb as a sore throat can totally incapacitate you! WOW! This morning after a night of once again NO SLEEP thanks to BROCK, Brock decided to wish me a Happy Birthday by waking me at the crack of dawn 6:00 AM followed by Pierce joining in the party!

Last night we went to see my Nephew Trevor play basketball in South Jordan. It was a very intense game. Wow! They won in the last 2 seconds of overtime with a 3 pointer. It was fun to be with family again. I only wish they were closer to us! :( Anyways on the way home I started feeling crappier.. I had tears rolling down my face and Pierce looked over at me and said "MAMA, I kiss it?" I leaned over so that he could kiss my cheek and he then said" There is that better" It was so cute I had to smile! It is moments like that that makes every moment of being a Mom worth it!

Cory Belliston

This is a sample of my Brother-in-law's music he is amazing... you can see for yourself, but I think he is great! He has the most natural talent. I love hearing him sing, and when it comes to the guitar it is awesome. It kept adding this carol of the bells song too, sorry I am so computer illiterate. But the other ones are him. If you look on youtube though and look up Cory Belliston and pull up the Guitars Unplugged from Fall 2005 it is a song he wrote that is awesome! Just wanted you all to enjoy!

Merry Christmas

I am trying to fill in for the slacker of a mom I have been lately. We celebrated Christmas with my family on Friday night. All day Friday I was getting ready to have them over to our house.I don't know why but this always stresses me out to have company. I was so proud of myself and kept telling Trent what a good job I was doing. He just laughs at me. I made dinner for everyone and even managed to make my VERY FIRST homemade apple pie. Which I must say it turned out delightful! I was overly impressed with myself and over all the dinner turned out great. It is fun to actually have a place where you can invite people over.
My parents,Tyden, Whitney and Cam came over as well as my Grandpa Dean and Grandma Colleen. It was so nice.Pierce was so excited for his presents. He got a "basbetball shoops" (basketball hoop) and his most favorite gifts were a singing card and chocolate covered pretzels. Easy to please. Brock got a new Car seat. Which is nice because he did much better on our drive to Boise with this.
So on to our adventure to Boise. Our kids have been ridiculous since we got here.I think that Trent and I are looking into a insane asylum. Brock hasn't had a good night since we got here, Pierce is just CRANKY PANTS!I hope we can make it until Christmas.
Done with the complaints... It is really nice to be here with Trent's family. We hardly ever get to see them. We spent the first night here with Lorrie and her family. I have to say it was so nice. I have to say that I have been very LUCKY with the in laws that I have. They are so wonderful and loving. They have always reached out to me and made me feel "at home and like one of the family". Lorrie is probably one of the sweetest people you would ever meet. She NEVER has something bad to say about anyone. She is so welcoming. It was good to catch up. Pierce and Jensyn played so cute together. What a relief. Pierce is amazed by all these cousins. Then Sunday we ventured to Church what a JOKE! We couldn't even make it through sacrament. We went home to get the rest that we all so desperately needed. After waking up the Woods were here. I love seeing them. Kenzie and Devan have changed so much ... they are so Cute! Kayla and I have come to be pretty good friends. It is nice to have someone like that that you can relate to so well. Cory is that way to. It is weird that we are about the same age, fun too. It has been cute to see Brian holding Brock. He is so enthralled with him. Brady and Sasha joined the party later that night. How fun. Their kids are so grown up.
I am sure that I will be filling you in with more Christmas updates and I will share more of our Christmas stories. I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

Wake-up!

Lately I have been so sleepy... Brock hasn't been doing too well in the sleep department. He wakes up about every 2 hours and then at 6:00 every morning he is ready to wake up for the day. I cannot handle this! Anyways this morning I got Brock to fall back asleep. So I was sound a asleep in my bed only to be awakened by my other child at 7:00 yelling directly in my ear "WAKE UP MOMMA, WAKE UP!" It scared me so bad I about fell out of my bed! HAHAHAHA

Trent has been working for my Nana at the Fashion Place Mall after his normal job for the last few weeks. He normally has just been working Thurs- Sat but this week he is working every night. He usually doesn't get home until after 11:00 so me and the boys are trying to be creative and stay sane. I have a new found respect for single parents. It is hard work.Last night we had to get out of the house so I trucked my two kids over to the Layton Hills Mall. The mall isn't that great but it was very needed. We went and got some Christmas shopping done. The mall has a Popcorn Cottage and Pierce LOVES Popcorn! So I thought it would be fun to take him there and get him some popcorn. After buying the popcorn and giving it to him we started walking out when Pierce thought that it would be funny to dump the ENTIRE box of popcorn on the floor. How embarrassing! The nice lady refilled it for us And I tried to keep my cool. They have a little playground there for the little kids to play on so I sat and watched as my Shy Pierce tried to interact with the other children. It is almost painful to watch. He doesn't dare go near other kids. Brock has taken his Squeal up a tone notch.. it is so high pitched I think both Pierce and I have had enough. It is cute but gets old after awhile. On Sunday when I went to pick up Pierce from Nursery his teacher said "Today was the first time we have heard him speak!" Sad he has been going there for almost 9 months and this was the first time he spoke! SAD!

Our Christmas tree is pretty much Dead! BAH HUMBUG! What a waste of Money that was. I am contemplating on taking it down. But trying to be positive for the kids sake hahahhaha. I am not a Scrooge really! We will be going to Boise this weekend to celebrate Christmas I am so excited to go. It is always fun to go to Boise town! I hope that Trent takes me to the Treat Movies YUM that is my favorite. For $3.00 you get a drink, Carmel Corn (to Die For) and the movie. What a deal!

Milestone!

Last night Trent's brother Brady brought over a twin bed that he no longer needed we set it up in Pierce's room and he was so excited so Trent and I made the bed up and we thought what the heck we will let him sleep here. Thinking that there was no way that he would actually stay in there. Well he did all night we were so proud of him.I guess he is bigger than we think. He is growing to fast I wish that he would slow down. He is so fun.

Brock is cutting a tooth Oh Joy! He is still so happy though he handles it very well. He still is smiley and giggles. But when he is in pain he lets you know. Thank Goodness for Tylenol!!!

Life....

So I haven't been as diligent in writing on this so here it goes. Pierce has been doing some funny things lately. First of all I caught him the other day with two nursing pads stuck to the inside of his shirt, Hilarious. He walks around our house opening the closets and saying(from the movie Cars) "Doc has three Piston Cups". He also has been taking off his diaper randomly... I hope that this means that he will want to try to potty train!Brock has learned to squwack, he is so loud. In church on Sunday we kept having to leave the meeting because he was so noisy. I started to try to feed him baby food.. he isn't so sure about it though. His facial expressions are pretty funny.

This last Sunday my family came up to our house for dinner it was fun to "entertain" at "OUR HOUSE" even though it is a disaster zone. I finally put some pics of our house on here if you scroll down to other posts you can see them.
Last night We went out with our Friends Amy and Aaron Roundy and ther adorable baby Addison. She is so cute an tiny compared to my boys. Brock looks like the HULK compared to her. We went to Outback. I love Outback it is delish! Pierce wanted a salad... he loves salad! Funny,he is just like Trent. He ate the whole thing to the last drop.

Today I went to luch with a long lost buddy from Moscow, Idaho. Angie Haskins. We took the Children to Chick- fil- a Yum and Pierce of course was hanging on me while her daughter was playing like normal kids do. He is so shy. Then We went to Grammy's house. Pierce was so excited.

I cannot believe how fast Christmas is coming up... Holy Cow! I need to do some Power Shopping. I am not sure what to get Trent... Any Ideas?

Rain, Rain, Go Away!! (Snow too)

Today was a very gloomy day here in Syracuse. Not much going on here. We woke up to a raining cloudy day that eventually turned into snow. Pierce just stared out his window and was amazed! He wants to go out and play so bad. I would have let him except for the fact that our front yard isn't a yard it is a big MUD PUDDLE!! Which is even more appealing to Pierce.
Brock had a very awful night last night. I thought that I was going to lose it! He was up about every hour... nobody knows why. But we better not have a repeat tonight or I just might. It is so hard for me to be patient with him in the middle of the night when I want SLEEP! Both of my children woke up on the wrong side of the bed today and as did I! Watch out!Once they both got an afternoon nap though they were both really cheery! I heard Pierce in his room after waking up just a giggling away. He is funny. I overheard him whisper into Brock's ear tonight. "Brockie I love you" so cute! I hope they are good buddies always. Pierce just loves him so much.
We did venture out to Walmart to get some baby food and other necessities. It was snowing super hard. We then came home and Pierce wanted "Pizzpa" for dinner so we sat around the TV for some good old frozen Pizza and a movie. It was fun .

Granades!

Today was an interesting one. We had just finished all the bathing here and I snuck back into my bathroom to do my hair while the morning cartoons were babysitting my children. I thought that I was SAFE... that is when I heard a loud crashing sound coming from the front room. I ran and to my complete amazement I found my dear sweet son Pierce throwing the glass ornaments at the window and laughing as the shattered into a billion pieces. It was like he thought that they were Granades or something. Needless to say it followed in time out and lots of cleaning on my part. I am so mean!
My dad called just as we were finishing that up and offered to take me and the boys out to lunch. We hit up the local Burger King. Pierce was so excited to see his Papa it was like they were being reunited after being apart for a long time. Pierce wouldn't let go and he was taking in every detail of my dad, his mustache, his hair, teeth, clothes. So freaking cute!
We then had to go drop off some more stuff to the D.I. Man we have a lot of junk that we don't need. You know what they say though, one mans junk is another man's treasure. At least you hope that is the case.
Some good news is that the electrician finally showed up today and so I have had an evening of no BEEPS from the smoke detector...yahoo!
Brock was a mega jabber box today and needs endless attention. I think that my mom spoiled him way too much while we lived there! It is a good thing that he is cute!
I hung two things on my walls today I know what an eventful day! I told you this would be boring to read!

Wednesday Mall Day!

Pierce chillin' in the carseat on a long wintery drive!

Chunky monkey Brockie Boy ..... Geez what are we feeding him!

A boy and his Papa... shoveling snow. So Cute.

Charlie Brown Christmas Tree

So today marks another special day in the Belliston home. Wednesday are the days that we look forward to every week. We ( my mom, Vicki, Tyden, Hadlee, Pierce and Brock) go to the mall just about every Wednesday since who knows when. It is weird because it is like Pierce has radar for Wednesdays because this morning when I was getting him dressed he said" Mama where we going?" and I said, "Nowhere" He said " ya huh the Mall!" Funny. It is kind of a tradition we started. So this week for the first time we checked out the Layton Hills mall. We usually go to Southtowne because the little kids like to throw money in the water and play in the Dino land. It is just kind of something to look forward to and a way to spend time with other people and relieve our insanity! Pierce and Tyden got to play together and it is hilarious they are just starting to figure out how to wrestle each other... Tyden usually wins but Pierce puts up a good fight and it is good entertainment for the rest of us.

Then tonight I got to get away for a little while.. extremely unusual... but it was our wards Relief Society Christmas party. It was pretty good we had Cafe Rio type food and got to know our neighbors better. It was nice to have an evening away from this messy house of boring unpacking.. not to mention that for the past week we have had the most annoying sound about every 3 minutes our smoke detector beeps. We finally got a hold of our electrician who thinks that it is just a bad detector... NICE! We have tried just about everything to get that stupid thing to stop beeping and tomorrow... yeah he is coming to replace it! I think I might lose it if he doesn't come.

We finally got our Christmas Tree it is kinda funny looking but it's a tree. I need to go get some more ornaments for the poor tree, it just looks like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Pierce saw Trent bring it in and he said" look Mama it's Christmas!" He is so freakin' cute and says so many funny things. It is fun to see him get excited about the snow and Christmas. I put up our stockings and realized that I only had stockings for me and Trent sad .. So I need to get some for the boys. I am just getting used to being reunited with stuff that we haven't seen in like 2 years and some stuff has been stored since we were married. Crazy! Time has flown by so fast! Once I get my house more put together I will enlighten you all with some pics.

First Time blogging..

So I have been bugged enough now that I have decided to join the blogger nation! Everyone always says that I should join... but it always seemed like too much of a hassle. Anyways so here is our family debut. We just moved into our new house In Syracuse, Utah and we are loving it. Our house is a complete mess but what do ya do. Every time I unpack something Pierce thinks that it would be cool to pack them back up. He is such a great helper. Brock is so determined to sit up I set him on the couch this morning and he just grunts and grunts and pulls himself to a sitting position. Pierce was much lazier than he is. Anyways he pushed so hard this morning that he flung himself face first off the couch what a bad mother I am. Pierce looked at me and said Jeez mama! We are looking forward to Christmas this year with Pierce being a year older and he is so excited. We went to find a tree last night but no success! I am not sure what to write so that is all for right now. Maybe some of my other friends can help me refine my skills on blogging! Stay tuned for more boring excerpts of our lives!
