Little getaway

Trent had a conference in Southern California so instead of stay here all alone all week I decided to take the kids out of school for a week. We stayed with my parents in Riverside and had a lot of fun!
One day we drove to the beach and the kids were in heaven. It turned out to be a pretty warm day so that was even better. we enjoyed our Subway Sandwiches and the warm sun and sand. Allie wasn't so sure about the water, but she sure loved the sand!
These boys were beach bums as usual and were all over the waves!
Jaida enjoyed building her castles and villages.

One day my mom and I went out and saw the Dinosaur museum in Riverside! It was quite the adventure! Hahaha It took us about 20 minutes to got through the entire place so after we hit up the city park. That place was a little sketchy, but the kids sure had a good time!
While we were in SoCal, Aunt Dee and Uncle Cory had their baby, Hunter. We were so lucky to be able to be a part of this! Plus our boys got to see him after just days old. They approved of him and Brock is already talking about all the fun they are going to have together. I was so happy to be there for Dee and help her as much as possible.

We enjoyed many more fun adventures with Grammy and Papa. Including Yogurt night, seeing the Lego movie, Fun day at Dave and Busters and spending time in the hot tub. We sure love having them close by.

Happy Valentines Day

For Valentines day the kids picked out a bubble machine. Allie especially loved playing and chasing all the bubbles.
We enjoyed heart shaped PBJ sandwiches for lunch and wearing these silly mustaches.
We got Trent an Orange Tree for Valentines day and it said on the tag.. "Orange you glad we love you!"

How to tell if she has had a good nap....

Check her hair and if it looks like this she slept like a champ!!

Sippie Sisters

These two thoroughly enjoy their morning sippie cups with orange juice and a little Mickey Mouse clubhouse too!
They sure are becoming good buddies and I love it.

YW New Beginnings

As my new calling guess what I got to plan and prepare.. New Beginnings. It was a lot of stress and worry but came out great!!

We had pictures of all the girls taken. This was my favorite part!

Our food was a yummy cheese cake bar! Yummy!

Little Getaway

My mom and Dada invited me on an impromptu getaway! I was so happy I was able to make it work and go. It has been something my mom and I have wanted to do for forever. We started watching Dr. Phil when he first began on Oprah. We have always watched it together. It was something that we always enjoyed.
She got some free tickets to go to a showing and we jumped on it. Some of my good friends really pulled through here to watch my kids and help make it happen. Thank you to my cute husband for working double time too.
We got great seats and it was so awesome to see how it all works. During ' Half-time' (not sure what to call it) they ask audience members to come onto the stage and shake their booties to earn free prizes! Guess what I got called down and you better believe I earned this cup!
I loved being with my parents and it will be a memory I will never forget!

Studly

Mr. Lumps got a new suit and was feeling pretty sweet! Isn't he handsome? Oh my goodness I love this little boy so much. He makes my life challenging but so animated. I can't imagine life without him. Love you Mr. Lumps

Double trouble

We got the game trouble for Christmas and Jaida and Brock love playing it. One of my favorite things is hearing them yell out, " Double Trouble!!" Brock has won every time we have played. Lets jus go ahead and say that he is well trained in everything Trouble!

They sure love their baby sister

These kids can't get enough of Allie. they are always following her around and trying to carry her everywhere. She is usually a pretty good sport and the feelings are pretty mutual. It makes this mama happy.

Cubscouts

I am slowly being immersed into the Cubscout world. Wow is it Weird!! Pierce was a pretty proud Cubscout on this night he got the Bobcat and his buddy Tyler Price got his Wolf! These two were pretty much inseparable. Way to go Pierce!

Shake Sharing

Ya Right! Trent bought the girls a shake to "share" Hahaha by the looks of these pictures you can etll who wasn't willing to share!

My Jaida

How can it be that this sweet girl is so grown up. She begged me all morning to put some lip stick on her and then was so pleased with herself in the mirror. I love her sassy attitude. The other day in the car her and Brock were in the back seat and he was saying something to her to which I heard her reply, " Is that anyway to talk to a Princess?" Hahaha she pretty much runs the show and knows it.
She is telling everyone lately that her Daddy is her Prince and that she can't wait to marry him in the Temple. It pretty much melts her Daddy's heart.
On Sunday I got a text from a lady in our Primary Presidency saying that our kids had been disrupting Primary. I thought for sure she meant Brock, but she said Jaida! I asked what kind of disruptions she was causing and she sent me a picture of a boy and girl kissing and explained that Jaida and her son Spencer had been kissing during sharing time! She said it was a total of abut 12 kisses!! Uh-Oh We are in trouble!

Poor Girl

This little one had a nasty respiratory infection that couldn't seem to go away. Daddy was helping her to take her breathing treatments. I thought it was really cute that she got into the Mickey Mouse show on his phone.
