what do I have to write about?

Seriously is there anything fun in my life right now to write about? Well it doesn't see as if I can even think of one thing lately. I have been having writers block for a little while.

I guess I can share a few things that Pierce has been doing lately. He is always good for a laugh. He has started to sing along in the car and lately his favorite son is " I'm just sittin' out here watching airplanes take off and fly..." He tries really hard to sing it with a country twang. It cracks me up. Today we went over to our neighbors house to talk about the preschool that we are starting up.. kinda like a joy school thing... anyways he kept telling me that the bus was coming to pick him up. He was pretty disappointed that it never did. He is really excited for school to start. This morning while I was on the toilet he came in and said, " Mama, you don't have a Willy should we buy you one? " ( Sorry if this offends anyone) I was laughin' hysterically!

Brock has turned into a little tornado he tears anything with in his reach into SHREDS! I feel like all day I am saying " No Brock, get down Brock, move Brock, get out of there Brock... ETC ETC " I am going nuts! I don't think Pierce was ever this curious. He would sit in front of a bucket full of toys for HOURS! How does anyone ever venture to the third child? I keep telling myself it is bound to get easier, but when ? How long? I know all you veteran Moms are getting a good kick out of me right now.. what a wimp I am I know!

Allergic to Peanuts???

So this week has been an interesting one... I will give more details later! Anyways I was down at my mom's house on Tuesday and we gave Brock a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Which I have done before so I wasn't in any way worried. Well about half way through his sandwich he started crying and rubbing his eyes. My mom preceded to give him a drink and I said he is probably just tired. Not thinking at all that there could be a problem. Anyways after completing my lunch I went over to get him out of the high chair, I noticed that he had blotchy hivey looking thinks all over his face and his eyes are swollen and blood shot! That is when hmmm mom finally got a clue and figured out something was wrong! So yes we had to go over to Walmart and buy some benadryl. Turns out that he is allergic.. well that is what we think, no real diagnosis, but nothing else could explain this! Poor little guy was trying to get our attention and we were in LA LA Land! HELLO GUYS I am SWELLING UP over here! Nice mom he has!

First Steps!

Yes you heard me Right. My cute little Brockie boy has taken his first few steps. He is super wobbly ... but it sure is cute to see him try! I love him so much, even though most the time he is a stinker!
I have to share a cute story about my Pierce. Last night we got home from my Aunt "Taffy's" (Cathy's) House and it was time to get ready for bed. He scarfed down some left overs from the get together and then came into my room where I was hiding to try and get in some reading of my book Breaking Dawn. He said, " Hey Mama whatcha doin?" I said reading my book. He said" Oh did you need me to come sit by you?" I said Sure. He then climbed up on my bed and sat down right next to me and said, " Mama I was just thinking I love you!" I just about died... that was the cutest thing EVER! He is such a cute little boy.

Weekend in Boise

Pierce and Brown Papa making happy cakes in the sand box!Pierce going down the slide.
Cowboy up! He loved these horses. He learned to tell them Giddy up to go and whoa to stop. He loved to lead them around the pasture and feed them oats. It was so cute to watch him ride he would pat them and love on them. The horses names are Rojo and Nebo. He would also say," I want to ride them barebacks Papa!" And he did!
Brock's turn on the Horse. He is so cute!
Pierce leading the horses! He would say " No Papa I can do it all by my self!" Funny boy.

So this last weekend we went to Boise to go and visit Brown Papa and Brown Grammy. Pierce has been bugging us for quite some time to go and visit them. We have felt really bad that we haven't been up there very often. We had so much fun. We left Friday and drove straight through. Our kids did remarkably well until about Mountain Home... Trent and I also were feeling kinda ancy by that time too. It seems like and eternity from Mtn. Home to Boise. Anyways when we got there Grammy had a delicious dinner of her famous chicken rolls ready. Yummy! We then just went out and enjoyed chatting and playing outside. They have a great yard, any little kids dream: Horses, sandbox, playground, trampoline and lots of grass for Pierce to run on. Trent went out to a movie with his long lost buddy Cougar (Brandon) and I stayed back. We went for a walk and then it was time for bed. Ya right.... Brock had the ultimate WORST night of his life. He was screaming Bloody Murder until Trent at 1:00 AM decided to take him for a drive to try and get him to sleep. He returned at 3:30 AM with a screaming child that still was awake! He finally went to sleep about 4:30 AM! Yahoo! But at least he let us sleep until 9:30 AM. The next morning we spent outside as well. Pierce had horse ride after horse ride.. followed by many horse rides. He pretty much wore brown Papa out! He has no attention span so it was I wanna ride the horse.. I want to jump on the tramp, I want to dig in the sandbox, I want to swing on the swing set... over and over! The rest of the afternoon was spent at Trent's sister's house to play with cousins. They have the cutest cocker spaniel puppy, Abby. Brock loved her! We went out to dinner with them for some yummy Pizza at Idaho Pizza Company.. It was delicious! Later that night we returned, Pierce, Papa, Brock, and Grammy stayed back and Trent and I went on a cruise in his dad's new Corvette. Man that was so cool. It has some serious power. Trent was in heaven. All in all we had a great weekend. Pierce was extremely sad to leave and we vowed that we would never go that long again without making a trip there! We love you guys... thanks for a great time and putting up with our kids!

Things I have left out...

I feel as though I have left out a lot of things in my blog so here is a little bit about those things I have forgotten to post. Here is a picture of the boys at the annual 24th of July Parade. What would my life be with out a parade on the 24th. I couldn't get Trent to come along with me but Pierce sure was excited to come. He had so much fun, every time the bands would come by he would dance and try to lead the music. He was getting so mad because Tyden wasn't showing as much excitement. He kept saying come on Tyden dance, clap, put your hand on your heart. Funny kids.
Here is the cake that I made for Brock's b-day. I know what you are all thinking... I had a wild hair and decided to ATTEMPT to make a cute cake for his birthday. This was as good as it got. Oh well. As you might know we call him LUMPY so we wanted to have a Lumpy cake. Anyways it tasted good!
Here is Brockie on his Birthday. We went to a park and had cake and ice cream. He absolutely had a fun time on these swings. He is so funny. He wants so badly to be a big boy so that he can play with his brother. It was cute to see him try to interact. Thanks to all who made this day memorable.
Trent and I also celebrated our 5 year anniversary. We celebrated on the 25th because as you also may know our little Brockie was born on our anniversary. We went to the usual, our favorite, Outback and then we went and saw Batman.. Which I absolutely loved! He bought me these flowers. What a cute little guy!
Last but not least we FINALLY finished our yard and planted the seed for grass. Yes... the green grass grows all around and around! This a picture after just one week. We are so excited to just see something other than weeds growing. Thank you to Eric Billings for helping us plant it! We have been extremely busy and I am sure there is even more that I have failed to tell but here is this for now!
