Busted!

Gracie got caught red handed the other day. I had made banana bread in the morning. While I was getting readying heard a loud crash. I found this and a dog with her tail between her legs! She knew she was in big trouble. Jaida was not very happy with Gracie either. When I asked Jaida what we should do to Gracie she replied," I wanna punch her in the face!!" Don't mess with her banana bread... Watch out!

Missing our friends

For the most part the kids have done really well with all the changes we've had. The other day I caught them in the backyard with this piece of paper. They had written their friend Teagan's name on it and circled it with a heart. They each went around and said something they missed about him and gently placed a rock on top of it, until it looked like this. It felt like we were at a funeral or something. It broke this mamas heart. I was so proud of them in that moment. Moving is hard! Making new friends is hard. Going to a new school is scary. They have done it with such bravery. We will miss our friends... But look forward to seeing them in the future.

Too cold to swim

Jaida really wanted to go for a swim today, but it was only in the 70's. I told her it was too cold. She replied,"I can fix that!" And ran off. She cack in my room wearing this and told me she was ready to go swimming. Hated to tell her no, but somehow I don't think she would've enjoyed one second of that swim!

Smiles and giggles

This sweet little dumpling is almost always smiling or giggling. It really is true! She is so patient and happy about life.
She adores her siblings from afar, but doesn't appreciate being smothered or having them all up in her face. They are learning how to play with her.
Baby giggles are the best and can turn your crabby days into happy ones. Allie does that all the time. Thank you Allie for helping me to find joy in the smallest of things.

Oil and water

Usually these two are fighting and not friends. Jaida loves her Brock so much and wants to do everything with him or like him. It drives Brock absolutely nuts! They are so much alike it kills me. Both very determined, strong personalities. So moments when they are getting along and play well are pretty rare. I captured this moment on camera. She can hardly wait to pick him up from school each day. It is sweet to see them like this. Hopefully one day they will appreciate each other.

Allie-4months

Man, she is growing up so fast! 4 months old and full of chubby rolls. She has some serious cheeks and thighs. I could just eat her right up. Still happy as can be and sleeping like a champ.
We love her more and more each day.

Mr. Lumps

Brock was chosen as the citizen of the week in his class. I'm always happy when I go to pick him up from school and he's been a good boy. Brock has done so well in school. I'm so proud of all his hard work. He got to pick a toy lizard out of the prize box. He was beaming with excitement.

Allie's first hair cut

I've never been a big fan of the baby mullet or comb overs! All of my babies have gotten buzzed when it starts looking weird. Allie was not thrilled about it at all! Here's hoping it grows in fast and thick!

Lifeguards hard at work

While the kids swim Allie and I play lifeguard on the side. The kids are getting so tan and pretty good at swimming too. Allie loves to watch them all splash and play around. The water isn't quite warm enough to have her get in. This doesn't ever get old.

My daughters

Somedays I can't believe that I have 4 kids! I feel so lucky to be their mom. I love that I get to stay home with them. Here are some pictures of my two beautiful girls. I love them more than anything!
Jaida and her "what's the big idea" face
My sweet peaceful Allie.

Jaida's Hair

We've been experimenting again. I feel like we do the same hairdo too often here is topsy-turvy piggys
And her Rapunzel hair per her request. It sure is fun to have a girl with so much beautiful hair. She loves to sit and get it done, I'm grateful for that.

Book #5 complete

Pierce just finished book #5 of The Diary of A Wimpy Kid series. He has really enjoyed these books and it has helped him to get excited about reading and improve so much his reading skills. My favorite thing is to catch him curled up on the couch reading his book or chuckling about a funny part in the book.

Don't be jealous

When we moved from Maryland we left a lot of things behind. One being our huge box T.V.s! It just didn't make sense to bring those babys across country. So here we are almost 2 months here and we still have no tv. Our kids huddle up around this mini DVD player and watch movies together. It actually in all honesty has simplified our lives a lot. We never have arguments over what cartoons or show we get to watch. Never complaints about getting ready in the morning for school. It has been really nice in that regard. We spend a lot more time together as a family. Now I don't want you to think I have gone all granola on ya... Of everyone in the family I'm the one struggling the most. I'll be honest I can't wait to get a tv so I can catch up on my shows.

Gone Green

While living in Maryland we became not conscience of our environment. We started recycling and got really good at reducing more than half of our waste. It always made me (Trent too, he's more crazy about it) feel good when we take out our garbage and the recycling bin is overflowing! I made this recycling bin for in our house so that it was easier to sort. It pretty much made Trent's day!

Surprise visit

My cousin Austin was called on a mission to Argentina, but his visa was taking some time. He temporarily was placed in the Fresno mission. After being transferred to our boundaries in Clovis, he was able to stop by and see us. He shared with us a quick lesson and told us his visa had been finalized. I was really proud of him and think he will do many great things. I was really grateful he took the time to come visit and make us feel special!

Feeling grown up

Our whole married life we have had hand-me-down furniture or freebies from Craigslist! I'm not complaining, they worked just fine, it just felt pretty neat to get our very own (first) sofa set. Trent was pretty stoked for his recliner. That is something he always wanted.

Blow out!

Time for some new bigger diapers! Allie had a major blow out disaster! Yucky!

Go Tyden

We spent the night at the ball park and cheered on cousin Tyden. He's a great little ball player and looks just like his Dad. He was pretty excited to see us there:)

Precious pictures

My Nana sent me this pictures of me when I was a little girl. Here I'm with my Great grandpa and grandma Lee. My middle name is Lee. I don't remember them. It was really cool for me to see this picture.
Here is a picture of me one year when we were in Wyoming. I was always doing crazy poses for the camera.

Birthday planning

Brock's birthday is in July, but he has his list of invites. He is my little planner. His got big ideas... Sprite party, Sea World, Beyblade cake and cupcakes. This could be interesting.

Little scooter

This little stinker was under her toy playing happily. I left the room for just a minute and come back to this... Uh oh trouble!

Easter 2013

Easter was a great day. We left some treats for the bunny. That crazy bunny came and left lots of funny clues all around the house. The kids are starting to laugh and enjoy those scavenger hunts.

We had a great day at church. We came home and had a tasty meal. Then we had a little Easter egg hunt out in our front yard. Easter was a success.

Egg-stavaganza

The kids had a great time dyeing eggs this year. Jaida is getting older and able to participate. She dunked her eggs into so many different colors they all turned out to be all the same shade of brown. Haha. She also managed to dump out the entire red dye too. The boys were boy trying to be patient.

Pretty proud of my TBird

Yup, he's pretty amazing. I never in a million years would have pictured our lives the way that they are. 10 years of marriage and lived in 4 states, have 4 children, and 5 jobs to get us to where we are! We are really excited about living here and Trent seems very happy with his job. I know it's not going to be easy-peasy but we are ready for this adventure. I love you T and so grateful for all you do for our family. You are our rock (star).

Sleep glorious sleep

How to tell that mom had an awesome night sleep... Her hair looks crazy! Ahhh... Sweet mother sleep is fabulous!

We found him!

This little man was sure glad to find Mr. Pete while unpacking! I think he was getting worried with each box unpacked and no sign of him. I loved that he let out a huge scream of happiness and squeezed him so tight. I know someday (hopefully not too soon) he will grow out of this loving Mr. Pete phase and it will break my heart. Trust me, I will cry!

Irresistible

Just another post about how darling this little girly is. She makes me smile. Love you Allie.

Cousin party

About the second we rolled into town Brock was already planning a get together/party for Tyden and Hadlee to attend. My brother, Justin's kids live here in Fresno. We haven't lived close to them for a very long time. So we planned a get together. Had pizza and Popsicles went swimming and played and played! The were so excited to be reunited again.

Dry Creek Park

Out exploring our new digs and we came across this dandy of a park! The boys were in heaven on this giant climbing web. I had to beg them to leave. We have been back several times. It also has a huge botanical garden. We walked over to check it out. There was a lady there that saw us coming and looked really eager to share info about the garden. On the sign as we are entering said there were several species of lizards in there. As the lady approached us with excitement and offered to tell us all about the flowers and plants, Brock looked at her and said," hey lady we aren't here to look at the flowers we are more of the lizard type!" Her poor face looked a little disappointed, but happily told us where to find some.

Soaking up some rays

Allie loves being outside. Here she is sittin' poolside sippin' on a nice warm bottle of milk. Ahhh... The life!

This is what moving looks like

My house was a complete disaster for about 2 weeks. I can't take clutter and messes like that. It was literally killing me. My anxiety level was at an all time high. It sure felt good to find (most of it) a place to go. Moving is not fun!

Weekends at the laundromat

After moving in it was time to get a washer and dryer . I was being picky and wanted to be patient so that I could get what I wanted/needed. Laundry with 4 kids isn't an easy task. So I spent the first month here going on the weekends to do our laundry. I think it would be awesome to have one of those machines in your house. 6 loads in one machine, amazing!
But what do you know I finally decide what I want and go to get them... And they are on back order, really?! So I spent even more time at the laundromat! I did make some good buddies there.
Boy was I glad when my machines were delivered! They are awesome. I couldn't be happier:).
