Biggest slacker of all time... Sorry

Pierce and his new cousin Jordan! He LOVED him!
Cannot believe that I am another year older!

Papa and the kids out for a ride on the snowmobile! Pierce was in heaven.. no wonder he didn't want to go home!

He had a blast throwing snowballs at the window! He was laughing so hard!

All dressed to go play outside... Lumpy was so disappointed that we wouldn't let him outside!
Pierce couldn't get enough of his new cousin Jordan... Really he absolutely loved holding him! Isn't he so cute!
Christmas morning opening gifts.. don't I look hot there in the background. Lump was more interested in the candy!
Poor little munch can never keep his pants on he is so tiny!

Check out this one...Pierce and Brown papa reading the Christmas story. Pierce is putting on a "Brush" (mustache) like Papa Russ! Funny kid!
Brockie was not thrilled that we had to wake him up Christmas morning at 9:00 AM are you kidding me my kids never sleep that good! What are the chances?
Pierce all decked out in his new coat.. He insisted that it be orange! We compromised with this one! Who knew a 3 year old could be so demanding?
This is the end result of us forcing our kids to take a picture in the new jammies my mom made them for Christmas! Ahh sweet memories!
Lumpy looking spiffy in his new church duds!
Pierce my little GQ guy loves to pose!

The only cute one we could get! Why is it so hard to just stand there and smile?

I cannot believe that I really have been so behind on my blogging life? What is wrong with me? I want to assure you that we are doing alright!
As many of you already know.. Brock did FINALLY get his tubes put in on the 18th. It was a great day for us! He was seriously a perfect angel child that day! We took him in early in the morning and it went so fast. The surgery was done in like 15 minutes. The nurses and everyone had warned me that when he woke up he would be GROUCHY.... but to my and everyone elses surprise he was as happy as ever! The nurses could not believe it, they said that they hadn't ever seen a baby so happy. He was sitting up and when he saw me he said" Mama" and reached out towards me! Cute boy!
In all the rush of Christmas the next week was really a blur! I couldn't really pick out any defining moments to talk to you all about!Oh there is one funny thing to write about. So you know how you give out neighborhood presents. Well I thought this year I was going to be creative and come up with something new and improved to give out.. BACKFIRED! Trent and I spent a night hand dipping Strawberries in chocolate for our lovely neighbors to wish them a berry Merry Christmas. We went to deliver them the very next night and to our surprise ALL 12 pounds of strawberries had gone MOLDY. Luckily Trent thought to look at them as we were packing them into the car to deliver... or really you all would have thought I hated you or something! I tried! So if you didn't get a gift from us sorry! It is the thought that counts right? We had to just laugh at that point ... what do you do?
On Sunday the 21st we celebrated Christmas with my family at Guy and Cathy's house. Yummy food and good company! What could be better. This night as we are all gathered around the table chatting and eating, I hear my little Pierce's distinctive whistle from the top of the stairs. I run to see what he is trying to get my attention for and he yells down to me" Mama I have poop all over my hands!" I panic. My aunt and uncle house is new and I cannot believe my ears I scream for Trent's help and figure out that he had tried to go potty by himself. He was trying to be a big boy so I cannot punish him at this point. Luckily there was no poop anywhere else but his hands and toilet. HE simply forgot to use toilet paper!Needless to say we have had a discussion on the proper way to wipe!
IN a flash we were of to Boise, Idaho for Christmas. The roads were terrible. In fact as we are reaching Snowville we are informed that the roads are actually closed... Great ..just Great! Now what? We find a trucker to ask what to do. They know the roads better than anyone else right? We found the nicest, sweetest guy who offered to lead us out of the mess on a "secret back road". Turns out he was right and lead us straight though and was such a great person. we were a few hours late but made it there safely. Thank you! We really need more kind people in our world! How Thankful we were to that nice trucker. He gave us his card and said that anytime we were up that way to stop in and say hi!
We had a great trip there seeing so many family. Pierce was in absolute heaven. He loves his cousins.. in fact every night as they left to go home, he cried. He cried for all of them. It was cute. Brock had turned into the little show star and had every one in LOVE with him by the time we left. He really is so cute! We had a toy story Christmas filled with Buzz, Woody and Mr. Potato Head( Mrs. Matato head... that is how pierce says it.. funny!)They also got a tag reader, soccer goal( Brock loves to kick balls..he is very good at it, he also expects after each goal a little celebration from who ever is watching!), clothes, leapfrog toys... and games, movies and a whole lot more I am sure I am forgetting! needless to say we had a great Christmas!
While we were gone I also turned 26! I cannot believe that I am 26 what is going on! Trent tried really hard to make my day special I really have such a great husband. We had a cake and ice cream with all his family Saturday night and then polished it off with my favorite thing in Boise.. The Treat movie! I love that place! We drove home on my real birthday, which was fine.. Birthdays just aren't the same when you are getting older! When we were coming into town we stopped off at my cousins house who also celebrates the same day.. my grandparents were there. My cute Granny and Butch came and put a Happy Birthday Sign on my garage door! Everyone was so great! So funny that I also share my Birthday with 2 of my best friends Jamie and Tereasa. What are the chances of that? I hope they had as good as a day as me.Thanks for always being such great friends to me!
Sorry this is so long and no pictures.. I will have to do that later as it is late and I haven't figured out how to put them on yet with my new camera. I will I promise!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

As you can tell I am quite excited about this post... and just so you know this IS NOT a previous post. Sometimes my life feels like the movie Ground hog day! So You ready to hear the exciting news... it really isn't exciting, Brock is SICK yet again! Hence my title" Are you Kidding me!" This is a phrase that I have been saying a lot at my house lately! On Sunday night he started fussing again when it was time for bed, so I thought well I better take him in to the Dr. tomorrow. He has had a little bit of a cold. SO anyways I take him in and YES for sure he has yet another ear infection and the Doctor warned me to keep a watch on his cold. So the next day Tuesday he was happy as ever and we were having a good day. We went down to my parents house to hang out and as the day progressed he started sounding worse and worse. When I got home I asked Trent what he thought I should do. With our surgery for tubes still just a week away I have been trying to keep him healthy because I wanted nothing in the way of this day! We have waited so long for this appointment and now it seems like a glimmer of hope may make it happen. Are you kidding me? Anyways SO I take him to the Dr. and they tell me that he know has Bronchiolitis. Sweet! And has to have breathing treatments for the next few days until he is better. This will mark the second time he has had this. It is NO FUN! That just reminded me that I need to call the doctor and find out if they can even still do the surgery!
So on the other hand we have been doing well. Life is always rushed at this time of year and you feel like you are being pulled in 90 million different directions. We finally got our Christmas Tree , Pierce helped me decorate it! He was super excited for it!Brock has been afraid of it, I was excited for that. He just stares at it and says "tree" (more muffled sounding). I thought for sure he being the wild child that he is , that he would have torn every ornament off the first chance he got.. nope ... Good Boy!
Christmas has come early for me and Trent we couldn't be more excited.. we got a NEW COMPUTER... it was sure hard not having one. Also we got a new camera.. any one that saw my old one knows that it was like carrying a brick around. I feel so overwhelmed by all this new technology though. Also I finally got a new cell phone I have had the most Ghetto one for like 5 years. It is nice to have. Also my cute husband surprised me by having our lockers done in our mud room when I finish painting them I will put a picture. So exciting!
This year we have been so blessed. We have so much to be grateful for. I hope that you all take the time to reflect on the true meaning of the season. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

I am Thankful.....

Our boys in Idaho Falls. Before the Major meltdown in the church! They got some cute new matching sweaters. Man they are cute!
These hoodies were one of Trent's Black Friday steals of $4 at Walmart. He was so proud!
Sad Whitney and Kira's POOR Gingerbread house... hilarious I tell you!

Proud picture!

Lumpy Turkey... He loves wearing hats... he is so cute!

My Cute Granny wearing the hat too. What a good sport. She is the neatest lady. I just love her.

Lumpy and Papa

Gingerbread house making!

Me and my Sweet.. high maintenance boy! Seriously !

My dad and his Famous Turkey hat! He is the most amazing dad... I swear I am so Lucky!
Okay so this year we went to my parents for dinner. I was so relaxing and Yummy. Of course my AWESOME Dad fixed an AMAZING dinner. It was great. My brother Ian made some yummy Pumpkin pies. I made an apple pie and Whitney made some yummy frog eye salad and pumpkin cookies. Everything was so tasty and good. Although I am not sure why I didn't really pig out this year. Brock enjoyed Whitney's cookies and ate like 6! My Dad wore this really cute turkey hat and pranced around gobbling! It was sure funny. The kids thought it was great. Brock enjoyed wearing the hat too and by the end of the night he was gobbling and even saying Turkey. After dinner my mom had an idea to start a new tradition to make gingerbread houses. The boys loved it and were chowing away on the candy..unfortunately they lost interest after 5 min. Kira, my little cousin, was assigned Whitney as her partner.... POOR THING! Their house broke fell apart and pretty much was a disaster. She finally looked at Whitney and said can I please just go play with the other kids? HILARIOUS! We couldn't stop laughing. We had a great time together and ended the night playing marbles and I won, thanks to Lindsay!
Black Friday is a fun day for us.. this year we really didn't get up early and go. Trent stayed up and ordered our NEW COMPUTER and CAMERA online...... I am so excited I can hardly stand it! Then He got up around 8:30 AM and went to a few stores. Then I met him with the kids and we also did some more shopping. All in all we didn't see that great of sales but it was fun! We had Lunch at Pierce's favorite place... COSTCO! Anytime you ask him where he would like to go eat he usually picks Costco. He absolutely LOVES their Pizza and churros! Funny kid! Then I had to go to work!
This last Sunday Kayla and Brian blessed their adorable baby Jordan and we drove up Sunday morning. Our boys were terrible. I spent about 5 seconds total in the chapel. Our kids definitely won the award for the WORST BEHAVED CHILDREN! Are you kidding me. They had a yummy luncheon afterwards and before we knew it we were packing our kids back into the car. We had a great time and it was really good to see Trent's family. I miss them so much, I wish we could just live close! We made it home safe and sound!

Turkey Party and Poop

I think Pierce has started noticing that my patience is wearing very thin these days with them being so sick ... especially Brock. This day Brock had literally been crying all day I was trying everything. Pierce looked at me and said," Here Mama, let me have a turn with him." Then I sat him on the rocking chair together and Brock immediately stopped crying and began laughing. That was the best medicine for me!
Me and Brockie hanging out Pierce has been into taking our pictures lately! Cheese

My little Indian boy Brock!

Little Pilgrim Pierce. These are the hats we made at school!

Cute Indian Pierce.

Well that pretty much sums up our last month! No really! I taught Joy school this month we had a lot of fun. Pierce was especially happy and excited for his "Turkey Party". We had a little Thanksgiving feast with all the cute boys. They made Indian hats and pilgrim hats. It was fun to see them get so excited about the weirdest things. They each got to bring their favorite food to share at the feast. This turned out pretty well and boy did they have some good eating... donuts, candy, pizza, lunchables, cereal straws..etc. You get the picture! Pierce was so excited and he thought that this party was just for him. After they all left he said," Whoops they forgot to give me my presents!" Hilarious! Lumpy loves being able to join in the fun too, he just adores his brother and thinks he is big just like him.

Well we took Brock to his Long awaited appointment at Primary Childrens. Yahoo... unfortunately we can't get him in for his tubes until December 18th! So we are waiting VERY PATIENTLY! Ya right in the mean time he is suffering with yet another ear infection. To top off the wonderfulness of our visit it seems we just couldn't get enough of the place that we of course had to bring home some Nice Illness from their lovely play area! Yes, the very next day Pierce came down with the Rotavirus! If you don't know what it is I pray that you never find out! Well is is a lovely Roto Rooter virus if you know what I mean. Oh it cleaned him right out.. for 6 days of pooping 10 or more times a day! Yipee. So here I think I am home free because my little Brockie has been vaccinated for this.. NOPE ... He apparently felt left out and needed to jump on the bandwagon! So we are starting all over with him now. Lets just say that I have been doing ALOT of laundry, cleaning toilets, and yes my carpet too. You all know what a clean freak I am so this has set me into a downward spiral! I am going NUTS..cleaning everything!

Well this last week has brought us yet another loss from our Cougars. How sad! Anyways, on a funny note I do have some funny things that Pierce has said in the last couple of days. Last night we were driving home from my parents house and Pierce yells out, " Hey look at all those Christmas light on that house" I reply, " yeah" he says " wow that is a whole bunch, and a whole lotta money!" I really was laughing so hard my face was hurting! Do you think that he maybe heard that from his EL CHEAPO Father! I got a good laugh! Also last night about ten minutes after that last saying he Yelled out at the Top of his lungs, " Hey Dad, GO UTES!" Trent says what did you just say? To which he repeats another chant of "GO UTES!!" over and over and over. Trent says who taught you that and he said, " my teacher, Brother Billings!" Then he said, " YOU STINK DUDE!" amazing to me that like 5 hours later he remembered that his teacher told him to tell Trent that. I laugh hysterically for like 20 min! Brother Billings better watch out that is all I have to say!

We are doing well and have so much to be thankful for. I cannot believe that it is already that time of year! Thanksgiving is coming up fast.

Just a little bit late

So here are the much anticipated pictures from Halloween. We sure had a fun time. Our ward had a Trunk or Treat and let me just tell you there were so many kids I couldn't believe it. Pierce filled up his bucket in just 2 rows of cars. I ran out of my 12 bags of candy lickety split! It was fun to see the excitement all the kids and some adults had!We couldn't get both of kids to smile at the camera at the same time. How so you like Pierce's Parrot on his shoulder... pretty cute? He named him Petey!
Brockie was a cute Monkey... although he already does kinda looks like one without a costume on. Brown skin, pokey ears, and a round face... irresistibly cute!I just love this little fella. Earlier in the day I took them over to Arctic Circle to get a square pumpkin meal. Pierce was super excited about that! I can't believe how old he is getting crazy time is flying by!

This is a cute pic that I just love of my Brockie all ready for church. Isn't he a STUD!I hope that next time I don't take so long to fill you in... We are doing good, Brock Finally has his appointment with the ENT this Friday... hallelujah! He has had another double ear infection this last week.. total for 3 months =6 ear infections! Poor kid. He is a pretty happy little guy for his circumstances. Sure will be nice to have him healthier! Pierce is becoming more and more independent. Everything is " I do it all by myself mama" Sad, no longer needs me!
I started a part-time job at Ross... laugh now.... Actually it is pretty fun. I love getting out and being Mikelle again... plus I have my OWN MONEYS, that I get to be responsible for. Not to mention the discounts I get. But I miss my Boys Terribly... the whole time I am gone I worry about them, even though they are just home with Trent. We'll see though. I am not as stir crazy.

Look at the time!!!

Oh yeah... we are selling our 4-Runner.... Trent has decided that we NEED a minivan.... He is funny. He really loves them so much and has been dying to get one since we started having kids. I am not kidding. So when our Friends put theirs up for sale he jumped on it. It is official I will become a minivan Mom. Don't laugh because I never thought it would happen but it is true. Oh well, at least is is a cute one right. Thanks Kevin and Jamie!
Playing outdoors. If Brock even hears the door open he makes a beeline for it, and he just follows Pierces lead. Always wanting to be in the action. Pierce guides him around and tries to make him laugh.

Brock just backed up into Trent's lap and just got cozy. He loves his daddy. I couldn't resist this picture. He was so content just sitting there with his daddy.
Trent entertaining the boys.. what a fun dad. LUCKY boys! Don't worry the undies were clean!
Cute little buddy. He tries so hard to be happy. I wish I could be more like him. he has the funnest personality.
Our studly pumpkins!
Can't get enough of this cute one!
Seriously why in the crap am I still awake? I cannot sleep tonight! I am not sure why. I have been so worried about my little Brockie today. I just want him to get better. I know that I just might be blowing this out of proportion but I can't help it I am a mother. I guess it comes with the territory right? I just had to blog about this because I need to get it of my chest. why do I have to be such a worry wort? Why can't I just let it go and fall asleep.. I think it is genetics! Here I sit wide awake at one in the morning knowing that in just a few short hours my sweet little angel children will awake and I will be so exhausted! Still I cannot fall asleep. Anyways here are some goings on at our house this past week.....

We carved pumpkins... well I carved them while Trent entertained the kids. They lost interest in the pumpkins after about 5 seconds. They didn't turn out the cutest, but I got the job done!

Trent and I got to go to the BYU game on Saturday. Thanks to our good friends Joe and Ashley.. we had lots of fun catching up. I am pretty sure Ashley and I really had no clue what was going on in the game we just loved chatting. It really is great that we get along so well. I wish we lived closer. Thanks to my parents for keeping the boys so we could enjoy the game.

Trent's dad came and visited Friday night. Pierce and Brockie love their "Brown Papa" they were sad to see him go as always. We stayed up late and chatted. I realize more and more how much Trent and his dad are alike.
Also this weekend Trent's friend Brandon "Cougar" came to visit. Pierce thought he was so cool. He really enjoyed having him around to play with. So did Trent and I, it really brought back a lot of memories of when Trent and I were dating. We had so many good times with Cougar! We really miss him. And here is hoping he finds the perfect girl to marry. We are routing for him.. so if you know a really great girl we know a really great guy!

We have been super busy. I only wish time would pass a little slower my boys are really growing up too fast. I just want to enjoy this time. Pierce seriously is getting too big. he is always saying the funniest things. He is really into Toys Story lately and it always pretending to be Buzz Lightyear. Brock thinks Pierce is the best thing alive, they are starting to interact more and more lately it melts my heart.
Today at church was the Primary Program. I must say I felt the spirit so strongly. Children have such powerful influences. I love that song "If the Savior Stood beside Me" What a testimony builder. It is so great to see the excitement in the children as they each had a special part in the program... it is contagious. I love the Primary children.

As you can probably tell I am just rambling on and on jumping from subject to subject.... maybe I should try to get some sleep.

Doctors visit after doctors visit...

That is what we have been up to lately. My poor little Brockie cannot seem to get better. In the last two months he has had 4 ear infections. I had a check up today to see if the last one had healed and they said Nope they actually look worse! What? How can that be? I feel so bad for my little Lumpy. He tries so hard to be happy when I know he is just feeling crappy. So today they decided that the antibiotics( 1. Amoxocilian, 2. Augmenton, 3. Omnicef) all have not worked. They gave him and injection of an antibiotic.. it is supposed to be stronger! He said they normally only give one dose to other children but they have decided to give Brock three doses. So we have to go back tomorrow and Friday for more shots! I really hope that this can help him. Also tomorrow we will be going to an Allergist to have him tested to see if he really is allergic to peanuts, maybe even cats and dogs? Then on Monday he gets to go to and ENT specialist to talk about getting tubes. Looks like he will be living at the Doctors for the next week! Poor little buddy! I hope that he can feel better soon so we can be happy again!

thanks for the idea Ian...

This is his Wall-e face!

My cute little Lumpy!

So we were super bored last night. Last time we were at Dax's house he had this cardboard box that he wore around pretending to be Wall-e. So pierce suggested that we make him a box so that he can be Wall-e like Dax. I have to say it was pretty fun to make and we were both laughing our heads off making it. After we made it though he said now you need to make one for Brockie.. he should be Eve. Hahaha anyways we had a good time and were entertained. So thanks Ian for the idea!We finished the evening with a Ice-cream cone. Brock loves Ice-cream he can down them so fast. It is really cute.

FiEldTrIp

So this Tuesday for Joyschool we went on a little field trip to Black Island Farm. Pierce was so excited to go with all his Friends. This place was really neat. We started out on a little hay ride through all their crops. The guy showed the boys all sorts of things like huge onions, carrots, corn, Indian corn. Then at the end we got to pick a pumpkin out of the pumpkin patch. Pierce was so proud. One of my favorite parts was when the guy held up the ear of corn it still had the green husk on it. He said "does anybody know what this is?" Pierce with such excitement said "It is a banana!" I couldn't stop laughing. He thought he was right. Anyways I guess I better started teaching him the different vegis and fruits! After our little ride they have a little kiddie land where there are huge slides and animals, and a train. Of course my shy little Pierce wanted nothing to do with the big slides but he had fun with the train and animals!

Brockie was such a trooper and he had lots of fun too... pretty much whenever he is doing things with Pierce he just loves it. They are usually inseparable!
Train ride.. Yee-Ha
Proud pumpkin picture!
