Turkey Party and Poop

I think Pierce has started noticing that my patience is wearing very thin these days with them being so sick ... especially Brock. This day Brock had literally been crying all day I was trying everything. Pierce looked at me and said," Here Mama, let me have a turn with him." Then I sat him on the rocking chair together and Brock immediately stopped crying and began laughing. That was the best medicine for me!
Me and Brockie hanging out Pierce has been into taking our pictures lately! Cheese

My little Indian boy Brock!

Little Pilgrim Pierce. These are the hats we made at school!

Cute Indian Pierce.

Well that pretty much sums up our last month! No really! I taught Joy school this month we had a lot of fun. Pierce was especially happy and excited for his "Turkey Party". We had a little Thanksgiving feast with all the cute boys. They made Indian hats and pilgrim hats. It was fun to see them get so excited about the weirdest things. They each got to bring their favorite food to share at the feast. This turned out pretty well and boy did they have some good eating... donuts, candy, pizza, lunchables, cereal straws..etc. You get the picture! Pierce was so excited and he thought that this party was just for him. After they all left he said," Whoops they forgot to give me my presents!" Hilarious! Lumpy loves being able to join in the fun too, he just adores his brother and thinks he is big just like him.

Well we took Brock to his Long awaited appointment at Primary Childrens. Yahoo... unfortunately we can't get him in for his tubes until December 18th! So we are waiting VERY PATIENTLY! Ya right in the mean time he is suffering with yet another ear infection. To top off the wonderfulness of our visit it seems we just couldn't get enough of the place that we of course had to bring home some Nice Illness from their lovely play area! Yes, the very next day Pierce came down with the Rotavirus! If you don't know what it is I pray that you never find out! Well is is a lovely Roto Rooter virus if you know what I mean. Oh it cleaned him right out.. for 6 days of pooping 10 or more times a day! Yipee. So here I think I am home free because my little Brockie has been vaccinated for this.. NOPE ... He apparently felt left out and needed to jump on the bandwagon! So we are starting all over with him now. Lets just say that I have been doing ALOT of laundry, cleaning toilets, and yes my carpet too. You all know what a clean freak I am so this has set me into a downward spiral! I am going NUTS..cleaning everything!

Well this last week has brought us yet another loss from our Cougars. How sad! Anyways, on a funny note I do have some funny things that Pierce has said in the last couple of days. Last night we were driving home from my parents house and Pierce yells out, " Hey look at all those Christmas light on that house" I reply, " yeah" he says " wow that is a whole bunch, and a whole lotta money!" I really was laughing so hard my face was hurting! Do you think that he maybe heard that from his EL CHEAPO Father! I got a good laugh! Also last night about ten minutes after that last saying he Yelled out at the Top of his lungs, " Hey Dad, GO UTES!" Trent says what did you just say? To which he repeats another chant of "GO UTES!!" over and over and over. Trent says who taught you that and he said, " my teacher, Brother Billings!" Then he said, " YOU STINK DUDE!" amazing to me that like 5 hours later he remembered that his teacher told him to tell Trent that. I laugh hysterically for like 20 min! Brother Billings better watch out that is all I have to say!

We are doing well and have so much to be thankful for. I cannot believe that it is already that time of year! Thanksgiving is coming up fast.

I love it when adults teach children these things. It is always fun to hear when they will repeat the things we say. I wish I had a "school" with my neighbor kids. I don't know how you find the time. What a great mom.

That's so funny what Pierce was sayin. It's so cute when kids say stuff like that. Sorry they've been sick though.

It is no fun when kids are sick. That picture of you and Brock is so cute. Your hair is adorable! It looks so good short. Good picture taking Pierce. I love the little hats that they made in joy school I might have to make some of those! Very cute!
