Fire safety

Our community fire station was having an open house. Trent was out of town so I thought it would give us something fun to do. We shoed up right when it started and boy was I glad because by the time we left the line was so long. They had a lot of fun hands on stations to learn all about fire safety. I think the highlights for the kids was shooting out a fire with a fire extinguisher and calling 911 and talking to the operator (similated of course).
They loved climbing into the fire truck.

Brock was pretty excited about having his picture taken here!
Jaida had to copy, but she wasn't quite tall enough.

We thought it was pretty cool that his name was on the truck! The kids had a great time. We had no meltdowns and it definitely kept us busy, Mission Accomplished!
