Sparthenian!!

Pierce was awarded the sparthenian award at school today. It is one of the highest honors at school. He has gotten one every year since being here in Clovis. Way to go Pierce!

Boomers

For Christmas Cory and Dee gave our family a gift card to Boomers fun center. We went today and had the best time. The kids loved the indoor bumper cars. Pierce won the jackpot on the wack game. They all won balls in the crane game. We had so much fun on the water bumper boats and got soaked. Allie was laughing so hard. The kids loved the go-carts. It was such a great time. Thanks Cory and Dee!

Fun day with Cousins

We are so lucky to have Tyden and Hadlee live so close. Today we had hem over for some swimming fun. They always have a good time together.

Waking up to this

When your kids surprise you just because with breakfast in bed. Today is gonna be a good day.

Tomatoes

Yay! My favorite time of year!! Tomato season! I know what I'm having for lunch. Tomato sandwiches coming up.

Blackberries

Blackberries are on. Yummy! These only lasted a matter of minutes. Brock is my biggest fan!

Sisters

Found these two all snuggled up watching DCTC together and couldn't help but capture the moment. I hope that they will always be close friends.

Allstar award

Pierce was awarded the Allstar award at Mickey Cox today. It is a pretty amazing accomplishment. So proud of this kid. Also this is one amazing haircut!

Sad day

Today we had to say goodbye to Trent.he is leaving to go do some work in Utah. And then when he returns he will be packing up to move to Washington. He got an amazing job in Yakima. We are proud of him and happy that he has a job, but sad for all the new changes. We have been spoiled having him around 24/7. This is gonna be hard. We love you!

Roses

Pierce went and picked these on the side of our house and put them in water for me just because. Love that boy of mine. Such a sweet thing.

Matching

Every girl needs a matching outfit with their doll right?? We saw these and couldn't pass them up. So cute!

Never wears shoes

This girl never wears shoes, ever! Just the other day at the boys school she stepped on 3 bees and got stung. You'd think it would help her learn her lesson! Nope! Today she stepped in an area of our yard that has prickly weeds and had about 50 stickers in her feet. So Trent helped pull them all out while I held her down.

Goodbye Ethan

Pierces good friend Ethan is moving to Idaho. Today was his last day of school. We are really gonna miss him and his family.

Tree trimming

Trent decided it was time we trimmed the trees. We didn't realize how much work it was gonna be. It happened to be an extremely hot week and 4 days later we finally finished what we started. Man that was a lot of work.

Zucchini

Yay! Our garden is producing some amazing things this year. We picked some zucchini today and we will be making zucchini bread for sure! Mmmm

Patiently waiting

Pierce  had his district track meet today. We waited all day for him to compete. They told us he would jump at 10-11am and he ended up being dead last and not jumping until 3pm. It was a super hot long day. This little girl was exhausted.

Yikes

Tonight when the boys went to put the chickens to bed Pierce almost stepped on this!!! Ahhhh!!! A huge king snake! Luckily Trent came to the rescue and caught and relocated it! Allie said,• daddy caught the Ting Tobra (king cobra)"

In her place

This girl is often found here playing and daydreaming. I love it. This is indeed her happy place.

My new sign for my bedroom

Today I made this sign to hang in my bedroom. I used some old wood from the pasture and painted this saying on it. I love how it turned out and the daily reminder it gives me!

Working girls

The girls say and watched their daddy work on the chicken coop to get it ready for the new chicks. They were hot and sweaty and mostly complained.

The girls caught this spider with some pliers. Haha they are Tomboys!

Soap making fun

The girls saw a video on YouTube about making their own soaps and putting toys inside them. So we decided to give it a try. We had a really fun time. They loved using their soap at bath time too!

Happy Mother's Day

Look at how cute my hubby is! He made this for me for Mother's day! I love how it turned out.

Then they got up and made me breakfast in bed! Yummy. I am one spoiled girl.

Frogs galore

We had Tyden and Hadlee over. The kids all had a fabulous time catching all the baby frogs we have in our yard. I think in a matter of minutes they had caught over 100!

Last day of gymnastics

The girls finished gymnastics today. Look at those cute faces. I was so proud of them both. They learned so much and had fun too.

2nd place in high jump

Way to go Pierce! So fun to see him try new things and succeed! This means he gets to go to districts!

Cousin love

Oh how my kids love their cousins. They have a really strong bond. I love watching them become such good friends.
