Star Writer

So proud of Pierce. Today he was awarded the Star Writer award for his class at school. Pierce is such a smart kid, but most of all a really kind kid too. Love you buddy.

A thoughtful gift.

My sister in law Dee and I ran in a half marathon back in November and it was super hard. We had no idea it was a trail run, so we were a bit unprepared! We had taken Pierce down with us so that he could see me cross the finish line and it was a special moment. She framed this picture of us and brought it over. It is a reminder to me that I can do hard things and how important it is to let our kids see that we can do those things too!

Thankful for thoughtful friends

I received this in the mail today and was so touched that my sweet friend Tracy thought of me. This quote has become special to me since the miscarriage of the twins. Now I can hang this in my home. I am truly so blessed with such amazing friends.

Little Mikayla's Quilt

I made a quilt for cute little baby Mikayla. It was the first time I had ever done the quilting myself and it actually turned out pretty cute. Loved how it turned out.

Little girl braids

Allie is finally getting enough hair for me to really braid it. I love seeing her in her braids. She looks so cute and gets so proud of her hair. Love this little girl so much.

Happy 40th Birthday Trent

Trent turned the big 4-0 this year! We went with a Darth Vader theme. I had all of Trent's friends and family write him letters and compiled them into a book for him. We sure love him! Happy Birthday!

Angel Babies

I got this in the mail the other day from Lorrie. It really meant a lot to me. It's hard for me to explain my feelings, and most the time the feelings I have don't really make sense. But it is nice to know that others care about me and remember that inside of me there will always be a part of me that aches.
I thought by now the ache would be better and there are days when it is. I'm grateful for that.
