Goodbye Stuart Ave

This house was such a blessing to our "in limbo" family. We made the most of this house. We loved the backyard in this house. The kids loved the trampoline. Remember the awesome garden we made here? So many great things happened in this house. The rent of $950 a month was also pretty awesome!! We will miss the 2560 Stuart Ave house!

He was hungry I guess

Allie wasn't a big fan of her lunch today, but that is okay because apparently Olaf was hungry!

dream came true

 For as long as I have known Trent this was a dream that he had. To live on some land and of course have a John Deere. We found this one on craigslist and it was too good to pass up. When Trent drove out to buy it, the guy couldn't get it started. Trent was bummed of course, but the guy took some money off the price and Trent agreed to purchase and try and fix it. After just a little part and a little money the mower started up as good as new! It was a pretty proud moment! Wahoo!!

First Dip in the new pool

Brock has been itching to jump in the pool. As much as we told him how freezing cold it would be he didn't want to believe us. He had to try it out for himself. Crazy kid! He only lasted a couple seconds and then wanted a nice hot bath to follow!

Eww.. Allie loves to get a hold of the toothpaste and slurp it down. I have no idea why she thinks it is tasty! Yuck!

WE moved!!!

 We bought a new house! We are so excited! The kids are so excited. It is a cute older home on 2.5 acres. It is something that we had always dreamed of owning. I can't wait to make it our own.

daily happenings

 I bought these jamberry nails to try on my girls, they didn't quite work like I had hoped. Haha and i turn around for just a second and find the rest of the stickers like this.. all over her!

This cutie pie loves to eat the frosting off of cake and not the actual cake. Her face is pretty irresistible. love you sweet Jaida Love.

I love this Girl

 Trent and I often say that if you are ever having a bad day that all you need to do is spend 20 minutes with this girl and your mood will change pretty quick. She has a very contagious smile and laugh. I know she was sent to our family to give us hope, happiness and love. Sh makes me happy!

Hunt-dawg

We are lucky to be just a car ride away from Cory and Dee and little Hunter. We love that they come up to visit us often. Hunter really loves being around his cousins and my kids just love him. Brock is really good with him and this morning helped make Hunter some scrambled eggs for breakfast. I love watching them interact.

Happy Birthday!

 This guy gets cuter every year. I am sure glad that he is mine. I love him more and more too. I Love you, Happy Birthday!

Professional Hairstylist

 When You have 2 sisters this is bound to happen. I am glad that Brock is such a great sport and will let them do their thing. He for the most part really likes having his sisters around. I think he sat there for a good 30 minutes while they sprayed and brush and sprayed and brushed.

White Sauce

One of this girls very favorite meals is " White sauce and noodles" (Alfredo and pasta) Tonight she said to me," Mom, can we please have white sauce and noodles? I will make it for you!" She was a great student in the kitchen tonight and made a super yummy white sauce. I am grateful that my Dad taught me this recipe. It comes in handy when you just have the basic ingredients, but is so versatile. I loved sharing the kitchen tonight with this cute little girl. Love you Jaida!

Sunny Selfie

I have loved every minute of this winter! Call me crazy since I grew up in Utah, but I do not miss the cold or the snow. I kind of love the fact that it is January and I am in a short sleeve shirt and sunglasses. It is awesome and I love living here!

visitors

 One of Jaida's favorite things to do is go and have lunch with Daddy at work. She loves to get Chick-fil-A and go play on the playground at the hospital. Both her and Allie sure love their daddy. They have him wrapped around their fingers.

House warming gift

Our friends the Wipflers gave us this awesome boot planter as our gift for our new house. I love it and it is so perfect for our new country home!

Bedside Table re-do

 Found these gems on craigslist for $25 for the pair. I couldn't be more excited to get my hands on these! They were perfect for what I had been looking for and I loved the shape of them. I think they turned out pretty awesome in the end. I love the two-toned look. Hard to believe that they are the same night stands as before, amazing what a little spray paint and stain can do.

YW Recognition

Today was kind of a bittersweet day. I received my Young Women's Recognition award. This is an award I should have received back when I was a teen, but for some reason thought I was too cool to do my personal progress back then. I worked really hard to get it, so it was really exciting to get it today. Also today I was released as the Young Women's president. I knew it was coming because we are moving, but it still was hard and felt like a part of me was being taken away. I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to serve all these girls. It was really hard and a lot of time and work, but in the end I was extremely blessed and grateful. I am grateful to be a part of an organization that puts such an emphasis on creating a place where women are valued and taught to be proud of who they are.

Golfing

 This morning Trent took the boys to Hanks Swanks to hit some balls. It is something that they love to go and do together. I am glad that Trent takes  the time to do this with you. You mean everything to him and he loves finding things you like to do together. You have the best Dad in the whole world.

Cabin Fun

 It's not a trip to Idaho without going to the Cabin in Cascade. It was snowmobiling crazy fun times while we were there and SUPER freezing cold. I opted to stay back with Gramsie and Allie to avoid freezing to death. The older kids had a great time riding on the tube and playing in the snow.

 The cabin is a place where you can just have fun and relax. So grateful for this place that Papa built.

 While they were away we played and ate yummy chick-fil-a. Gramsie read stories to Allie and she loved the done on one time with her.

 She found this hat in Gramsies closet and wore it all around the house. I thought she looked simply adorable.

 Allie sure was excited to see her siblings when they returned. I captured this cute sister moment of them reading the ariel book together.

 Then It was on the road again back to California. Our kids were pretty good sports for the long ride. Allie was losing her cool towards the end so I had to joint them in the back seat. I love this family of mine.
