Whirlwind of a week

Man this week has flown by fast I cannot believe it! Time just goes by faster and faster nowadays! This last weekend my little sister Whitney got married and it was just wonderful. Except for the cold part and the fact that Neither one of my boys was well behaved! It is just wonderful to be in the Temple with your family, you can just feel so much love and peace there. I just have one brother to work on now so that we can all be there. We had a funny luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, I say funny because my Dad had to go around the room and name all the people that were there for our family. He couldn't get names straight and even called Trent Whitney's uncle! I don't think he will ever live that down! The evening was at the Alta Club and boy did it bring back some memories of Trent and I's day. Except we actually got to enjoy it, well the food, because our kids were ridiculous! They both didn't get naps and well if you are a mom you know how that goes! Pierce got to wear a cute suit with a turquoise tie and I was in Red with turquoise sash. Brock was sporting a red vest and tie and Trent was looking dashing in a Black Tux!I cannot wait to see the pictures! I was so proud of Whit and Cam!

This week also we had to bid farewell to Uncle Cory... Pierce was distraught! He cried and cried and kept saying "he coming back mama?" And he keeps going into our guest room and saying "where did Cory go?". And now whenever we have gone out he thinks that we are going to go pick Cory up he keeps talking the entire car ride.." let's go get him, Where is my Uncle Cory Go?" So cute. Cory sang at my sister's wedding and it was amazing. I love it when he sings!

On Sunday we celebrated Trent's Birthday he turned the big 32! He wasn't so thrilled about it and Sunday birthdays are lame! My Dad fixed him a special dinner and we all just took it easy.

We got our new granite in our kitchen this week and now we actually have a bar! They messed up the first time and didn't let it overhang! Anyways now that it does overhang Pierce has run into it a million times, and last night he did a duzy.It about took him out and now he has a huge goose egg on his head.... Sad!

We got some sad news about our friends this week. I just haven't been able to get them off my mind. Miles and Amy Romney had a baby that is very sick and he is on lifesupport and he is going to pass this weekend I cannot imagine the sadness. I have been so sad for them and my heart goes out to them. I am sorry that they have to go through this. Just want them to know we love and care for them so much and have been praying nonstop for them. I am grateful for their testimonies that have strengthened mine so much.

Ear Infection

So sad my poor little Brockie Boy has an ear infection. I took him today and that is what they say! I am sad that I waited so long to take him in. I am so bad, But I hope that he will feel better soon and be happy again!

Singing in the rain!

Pierce's new favorite thing is to take a shower. This morning I put him in there and was listening and I heard him trying to sing songs while he was in there. He must hear Trent do that! It was so precious. He is getting to big and is so much fun. I love lately how he tries to get sentences together! He is always saying something to crack me and Trent up.

Happy Cake!

So Trent made a deal with Pierce that if he danced for our dinner guests on Sunday, Jeff and Ida Hunt, that He could have a happy cake. Happy cakes are Birthday cakes, My Nephew Tyden started calling them that and now Pierce does too. So Pierce danced and here is his happy cake he was so excited to make them. He was most excited to "Blow the Fire!"
This is the Crown that he made in Nursery on Sunday. He was excited about it on Sunday but when I went to put it on the next day for a Picture this is what the response was! Whatever! He is so emotional! He kept saying "I am the prince", I am not sure what they learned about! But it is so cute!

Brock keeps screaming????

I am not sure what is wrong with my poor little Brockie boy he is usually so happy but not today he screamed from 9AM to noon.... I am worried about him and my head hurts. Pierce was so worried to he kept bringing me things like baby food and a spoon, a blanket, he couldn't figure out why I couldn't get him to stop crying! I hope he is not getting sick poor little man! We are so tired here at the Belliston home.

Hectic Haircut....

We have a really hard time getting Pierce to get his haircut. It is a battle. We have been letting it grow out recently and had decided that maybe this time we would give someone else the challenge of trying to cut his hair..... thinking to ourselves maybe he would do better? WRONG!!! I need to publicly apologize to the poor girl working at the Great Clips in Syracuse! He was kicking and bucking and screaming at the top of his lungs while I struggled to keep him still. All in all his hair turned out cute and he is as handsome as ever. I am not sure how that girl pulled it off but she did and boy are we glad!He is such a stinker sometimes.

Christmas sleeping!

So we stayed in the basement of Trent's Parent's house for Christmas and Pierce stayed in the room across the hall from us on a bunk bed. On Christmas morning we went in to get him out of bed and he was no where to be found. We started searching all over the house but couldn't find him. We started getting worried. That is when Trent came up stairs and said that he had found him and was laughing hysterically. He told me that I had to go downstairs with my camera and take a look for myself. We found Pierce on the chair in the basement, where we had walked by a million times. He at some point in the night went out there and slept. It was so cute.
