California With Cousins

Our cousins, The Wood Family, came to visit in San Diego. We headed down to spend time with them! The kids were ecstatic. Aunt Dee took the kids down to the toy store and let them pick out something special. The kids were all really good, EXCEPT Jaida!! She had the biggest meltdown ever! Allie was such a sweet thing and sat down and helped herself to the books.
We stopped by the beach on our way up to stay in Anaheim, but it was a little chilly. We didn't want to let the kids get into the water. I know aren't we mean parents. But we did let them play on the playground and we walked out onto the pier and watched the fisherman.

Allie is our little go getter and was in heaven on the playground. We had to practically pry her off it kicking and screaming.

We did promise them that they could swim once we got to our hotel. They enjoyed every minute of that. They did spend every moment in the hot tub though!

They were pretty excited to go to Disneyland the next day!!!
While in SoCal we made sure to make a trip to the Mormon Battalian museum on a Sunday. I will be honest I wasn't very excited about going. But I was pleasantly surprised when they actually had a lot of hands on activities for the kids!

Brock got picked to go up and try on the battle gear. He was a great actor and played the part well.

The kids were all business about their Disneyland Maps and figuring out where we needed to go.

Jaida and Remi loved catching a glimpse of the princesses in the parade.

While Trent and Brian took the bigger kids to some rides. Kayla and I took the two littles to Toon Town. They got a kick out of sitting in every toon car and peeking in every character home.

Then we all had to give a try at getting the sword out of the stone!

We loved hanging out with this big crew. So much fun!

Then we had to say our goodbyes! :( The fun times always seem to go by so fast.
