Labor Day weekend~ the Beach

 Over Labor day weekend we decided that we would take advantage of the nice weather and our company (my parents) and head off to the beach. Can you believe that this was our very first time to the beach this year? What a joke, right? Anyways.. we were thrilled. The beach was a little more crowded than usual and the beach itself was all washed out from hurricane Irene that had just blown through. It made for some great sea shell finds and the kids couldn't have enjoyed the sand and sun more.

Papa was a good sport and had a blast playing with the kids in the sand and surf. Our kids LOVE the beach. On the way home we stopped by Pizza Hut for our tradition. Until next year~ we are going to go more often I promise!
