The other day Pierce came up to me and said," Mama I need to ask you a question, can we have a family party?" I thought it was so cute so we had a family party. Pierce planned what we should do. We each made our own pizzas, then he wanted to go on a walk together as a family. Pretty fun party! He has always been my party planning child!

Nature Walk
Pierce's birds nest...
The other day I asked Pierce what he wanted to do for the day. He quickly replied that he would like to go on a nature walk and collect things to make a birds nest. I thought it was pretty funny that of all the things he could choose to do he came up with this one. Anyways, they had a great time collecting twigs, leaves and grass, etc.. Then we came home and glued them all together. I think they turned out pretty good.

one month
It is hard for me to imagine just over a month ago I gave birth to this sweetie pie. Probably because we have only had her home for a couple of weeks! She is such a wonderful baby and brings so much happiness to our home. She is a wonderful sleeper.. which I have never experienced with ANY of my children. She pretty much only cries if she is hungry! She ABSOLUTELY loves her wubbanub pacifier. She hates having her arms wrapped in her blanket. She burps like a man!
I realized today that I have hardly any pictures of her since we have been home... mostly because I feel bad for her to have pictures with her lame oxygen stickers on her pretty little face. So I started trying to take some more today, I realize it was more important to have the memories of her than be worrying about her oxygen circle stickers! I love her face in this one!
Brock has suddenly taken more interest in her. He always wants to hold her, which makes my job of watching him like a hawk even harder! He is so independent, he often tries to pick her up by himself while he is saying, " I got you Jaida bug, I gotcha!"
She is such a patient little thing. She sits in her boppy and watches her CRAZY brothers run, wrestle and scream at the top of their lungs. All the while she just gives weird looks at them like, "what is your deal!"

Pierce's first soccer game
This last Saturday was Pierce's very first soccer game. He was so excited to be able to play this year. His team is the Cougars. They have a team cheer," Go Cougars... roar!" We volunteered to bring the snacks this week, he thought that was pretty cool. I didn't get to go to the game because I was home with Jaida, I was really sad. Trent said that most of the time Pierce was off in space, but then to his surprise something happened.... Pierce suddenly got some urge to go and steal the ball from a kid on the other team. He dribbled the ball the length of the field and scored a goal for his team. His face afterward was priceless. You could tell he was so proud of himself. He ran right over to his coach and gave him a high five.

What a wonderful day today was. We finally got to bring our sweet baby girl home from the hospital. She is off her antibiotics now and so the doctors gave her the okay to go home. She is on 1/4 liter oxygen and an apnea monitor. The monitor alarms anytime she stops breathing for more than 20 seconds. It has been such a relief for both Trent and I to have that machine. It is super loud and probably wakes up the entire community, but it is comforting to know it is there. She is a terrific baby. She sleeps really well and hardly makes a peep.
We are so glad to be a family again. The boys absolutely love their sister. Special thanks to every ones prayers and for all those that served us during this hard time. Wow, what a blessing it is to have her. She has made me a better person already. What a wonderful trial it has been. I learned so much, BUT I am glad that it is over! We have many follow-up Dr. appointments to determine her outcome with oxygen and so forth... I am sure I will have many more updates to come. For now we will enjoy every moment together with her! Love you Jaida!

Easter for the boys!
Our crazy Easter Bunny hid the boys buckets in the house with clues leading them on a wild goose chase. I thought this was the funnest part, watching them try to figure out where to go next! In the end they were so excited to get their buckets.
As Pierce was unloading his he looked over at Trent and I and said," Hey Mom where is your and Dad's buckets?" I said," Oh we must have been bad!" He said, "Well, Dad hasn't!" I said ,"What?" He said, " Well you are mean to me!" I guess I better work on that for next year! The boys each got a new outfit, bubbles, chalk, silly string, Spiderman stickers and notebook, and of course candy!I am so lame that I didn't get a picture of the boys with their buckets!
The night before we went over to Gramsie and Brown Papa Belliston's house and colored eggs and then had a Easter egg hunt. The boys were really excited for the hunt. It was cute to see how much fun they were having looking for the eggs. I think we had a total of 46 eggs. So they hit the mother-load because each one had candy or money in it! Brock was really proud of the eggs he colored!
Happy Easter Jaida
So since it feels like we have 2 separate families right now.... Here is Jaida's Easter pictures. We went to visit her Easter afternoon. We got there just after her bath time and just in time to put her new Easter outfit on.
I was super excited to go and visit her today because I have been so sick for the past 3 days and unable to go see her. 3 days is WAAAAAY to long to not see my baby girl! She was really awake today, which is always nice! She is starting to beef up a little and is now weighing 6 lbs. 11 oz.!
Jaida and her Wubba Nub! She absolutely loves this frog/binkie! Can you tell with her interlocking finger death grip!
Sweet baby girl! She is such a trooper!
Already has her dad wrapped around her finger! Trent goes every morning before work, at his lunch and after work to be with her. He tells me that he loves to sing to her. He Loves her so much and enjoys the amount of bonding time he has gotten to spend with her.
WE LOVE YOU JAIDA! CAN'T WAIT UNTIL YOU COME HOME!

Some things about the boys
Lately the boys have been out enjoying the sunshine. We have a playground in our town homes and they love to walk down there and play.
Brock's new lines lately include:
Whenever I ask him to do something he replies with," Quit telling me three times!" or " I don't know what that means!" He is also finally starting to grow and looking more and more like a big boy. He is also finally potty trained! Yahoo! Just in time before we had Jaida!
Pierce is all geared up for soccer this year. It is his very first year playing. He has been looking forward to this for quite some time now. We took him to get his gear last weekend to prepare him for practice. He was so excited. He carried the stuff all around the store. Yesterday was his very first practice. All day he carried his cleats and shin guards all around the house. He kept saying,"Just let me know when it is time mom!" Trent said he was the biggest kid on the team, although they are all 4 year olds!
I love the stages that they both are in right now. They are constantly making me laugh!
