Well since we moved to Maryland, aka "The forest!", Brock has had some itchy, watery eyes. We have always known he has had allergies, but we wanted to know what was causing this for sure. So a couple of weeks ago I took him to an allergist to have him re-tested. They decided to have him tested for 16 specimens including molds, trees, dogs, cats, weeds, and of course peanut butter!
Brock was so brave as they punctured his back with a nifty tool that poked all 16 specimens at once (thank goodness)! The nurse was amazed as she said she had never seen a kid who didn't cry when they did this. All he did was say to me, " Mom that is buggin' me!"
After waiting 15 minutes to see what re-acted. I was amazed to find out that he is really allergic to Trees! What the heck? Two in particular: Oak and Sycamore! And you would be happy to know that OAK trees are the most prominent tree in Maryland! No wonder the poor kid could hardly breathe this spring! The oak tree sends out so much pollen that literally every morning when we went outside everything was covered in an inch thick coating of pollen. Everything looked green.
As for everything else they tested him for, nothing else re-acted! It seems now that he has grown out of his allergy to peanut butter. So they have scheduled a food challenge where I take him to the doctor to try peanut butter in a controlled environment to make sure he has no reaction.
The good news is that his tree allergy will only be bad in the spring! Who would have thought, trees?

Jaida is 2 months old
Jaida is now 2 months old. She is such a fun little girl. She loves taking her baths and knows everyday at 8:30 in the morning that it is time for her bath. She is full of smiles. She weighed 10 pounds 5 ounces and was 22 1/4 inches long. She hated her shots and was sooo sad! She got a mild fever from them too. These are some pictures of her without her oxygen on... She pulled it off one morning so I took advantage of it! She hates that thing on her face, I don't blame her though!
Her eyes are still blue, we hope they stay that way. Trent has blue eyes and has been wanting one of our kids to get them. Since the boys have my brown eyes. She is getting a lot of rolls, and even a double chin! She eats every 2 hours during the day 4-6 oz. I will take it though because she sleep wonderfully through the night at least 7-8 hours!

Mother's Day
This Mother's day was great! I have to give some Props to the Men in my life who made it so special. We woke up and went to church bright and early. I was so excited to hear my little P sing to me in sacrament. He did a great job and was actually singing the words! Brock made me a cute magnet in nursery. Jaida blew out her britches in honor of her first time at church!
After church they told me I had to go upstairs so that I could get my surprise. When I was called down they were all hiding behind a make shift fort they had created. I was told to read my card out loud. It said...
We love you Mommy for so many reasons. Here are just a few. (Each reason corresponded with a gift they gave me and one of them would come out from the fort when I read it.)
1. You keep us Clean. (soap)
2. You buy/ make us treats. (m&m's) don't worry they were already gone before I took the picture.
3. You cook for us. (cookbook)
4. You read us stories. (Charlotte's Web)
5. You make us feel cozy! (socks)
6. You organize and keep our house clean. (organizing baskets)
7. You get us ready for sports. (workout shorts)
8. You dress us. (shirt)
9. You keep the mosquitoes away. (bug spray)
These are just a few reasons why we think you are the best mommy in the whole world we love you.
I thought Tbird did a great job this year to make sure my day was special. thank you... I will never forget!

Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
With our visitors this past weekend we decided to go out and enjoy the beautiful weather. Our temperature was in the 90's! It was a perfect beach day! We packed the kids in the minivan and headed out on our two hour drive to the beach. We thought that it wouldn't be too bad of a drive, hoping the kids would take a nap... WRONG! The boys kept poking and bugging each other the whole ride! By the time we got to the beach we were all so relieved to get out of the car!
This beach was beautiful! It had a really cool boardwalk. and the boys loved playing in the sand.
Cute boys waiting to go play in the sand!
Jaida chillaxin' in her car seat at the beach! She was a great baby of course and had a great first time at the beach!
Lumpy making a sand castle. He was so dang cute at the beach. He was a little afraid of the water at first.. it didn't take long before he was practically diving in and either Trent or I were jumping in after him trying to rescue him!
Best Buds... when they weren't riding in the car together! Some how the car brought out the worst in both of them!
Enjoying their orange sherbet ice cream cones covered in sprinkles!
Suprise Visitor
This past weekend we had some visitors. Trent and I of course knew that they were coming but we didn't tell the boys. Friday night Trent told Pierce that he was going to "Run an Errand" and to go to sleep. He went and picked up both Tyden and my mom from the airport. When the boys awoke Saturday morning and saw them there Brock said, "Hey what are you doing here!" They were really excited to have them here and couldn't wait to have some fun! It is always great to have visitors. It is what we look forward to these days!
